“Very nice!”

What a lovely, little boutique hotel. At the time of our visit the hotel façade was covered with scaffolding. Not a pretty entrance however, the hotel had a lovely half-bottle of wine, a large bottle of water and a little chocolate cake in each of our 3 rooms as an apology for any inconvenience during their remodeling. It was a great touch. The rooms were immaculate and relatively small but still a nice size by European standards. The bathrooms were well above expected with very nice showers in one of our rooms and a very nice tub in the other rooms. The staff was most helpful and accommodating. The breakfast, which was included, was simple but delicious. They even offered champagne. I would not consider staying anywhere else on my next visit to Vienna.

“Excellent Accommodations”

The Hotel Das Tyrol was a delight! It was wonderful to come back from a long day in Vienna to a comfortable and charming hotel, tucked away in a perfect location. Our room was small but accommodated us perfectly. The bathroom was great! The hotel provided wonderfully smelling soaps and lotions. Breakfast was included and was fresh and delicious. It was nice to stay in a small hotel where the staff was so attentive. If we travel back to Vienna, we will want to stay at the Hotel Das Tyrol!

Very nice hotel in good location close to Museum quarters and easy walking distance to Palace and shops. Lovely breakfast. Great for long weekend away.

The center of the city and most sights are easily reached on foot but if required there is a choice of public transport options within minutes of the hotel. There are small bars, cafes and a few eateries within walking distance but for a wider choice it would be better traveling into the center. The staff are to be congratulated for the service that they provide. The buffet breakfast is one of the best that my wife and I have experienced, nothing appeared to have been missed and the breakfast staff were very efficient and friendly.

“"Small Luxury, Big Benefits Hotel"”

This is our 4th stay at Das Tyrol. We love this hotel. The rooms are pleasant, the staff helpful, and breakfast is fantastic! We will always stay here when we visit Vienna, which we do quite often because we love going to the museums. Another bonus, the Das Tyrol is just 5 minutes from the Leopold in the Museum Quarter, and a few minutes walk from most of the other museums we like. It is well located for shopping, and for public transportation to anywhere in the city.

“Great location, great hotel”

The hotel is across the road from the Museum Quartier and the U-Bahn. I arrived by train from Salzburg and it was very easy to get to from Westbahnof. Once there, I walked everywhere except to the Prater. All staff - reception and breakfast room - were very friendly and helpful. My attic style room on the 5th floor was lovely and the bathroom stunning and well equipped.I was right next to the old fashioned lift but never heard a thing. Breakfast was excellent and they would even cook omelettes on request. I would definitely stay there again!

“The perfect place to stay in Vienna”

The Hotel Das Tyrol was a great place to stay in Vienna. The Hotel was very clean and quite. The only downside were the bedrooms which although were very spacious, clean and functional they lacked a bit of Ambiance if you were looking for a Romantic Weekend. On the plus side however the Staff were very friendly and helpful and they do a Great Breakfast. The other great thing is the location which is very convenient for Shopping and Museums which are only a short walk around the corner. We'll certainly stay again when we go back to Vienna.
