“Very nice hotel”
Comfortable, clean and friendly.
“Exceptional Exprience”
The impressive level of service, caring staff, location and quality of this hotel increased our wonderful vacation in Vienna. The central location made getting around the city simple and convienent. The staff continually delivered exceptional service; willingly assisting with reservations, suggested activities and directions. The room was comfortable and clean. We will definately stay here again.
“Perfect base”
According to my taxi driver, his hotel changed management a few months ago (spring 2010). It is in a perfect location, handy for all major sights and public transport. The building is modern and comfortable but has been decorated in an approximation of Secession style with great skill, overall the most tasteful decoration I have seen in a hotel in a long time. Staff have impeccable manners and a sense of humour. The receptionists are multilingual and unflappable even in the face of very demanding groups like the one in line in front of me (the elderly tourists' quirky requests and the staff's absolute and natural professionalism in handling them made me chuckle - I'm sure the tourists felt like kings and queens when they trudged off to their rooms). The rooms are impeccably clean, decently-sized, quiet and decorated in the same tasteful fashion as the rest of the hotel. There is an open guest book on the reception counter, and the comments reflect the quality of the hotel. All this for an unbeatable price given the location. The restaurant is also under new management, the food I had was of fantastic quality (on the pricey side but worth it). There is fast wireless internet, it was included in my room rate. Pets are allowed for an extra fee. There is no gym - if you can live without that, this is perfect for a business or holiday trip. I will definitely stay here again. I normally don't write reviews of this length, but this hotel really deserves it.
“Vienna”
Great hotel, room and location. I was just there for a quick weekend and this was a perfect affordable option!
“Clearly an excellent choice”
great location near inner/old city, museums and entertainment. Convenient access to public transportation. Staff very in reception very helpful. Rooms very quiet.
“No question: Great and convenient four-star choice”
First things first: Big thanks to Luna Martinez, Julia Loschenbrand and Christophe Delore for their outstandingly professional and warm help during my three-day stay. In addition to keeping everyone happy, they were doubling as front desk agents and concierges during the weekend. Room was spotless, although chamber maid was a bit sloppy with bed making. Location is quiet, yet very close to all downtown attractions. The farthest, the Rathaus (city hall) is a 20 minute leisurely walk. All others are closer. Stadt Park subway station just two blocks away. Included breakfast catered to everyone's taste. Had dinner one night and food was three out of five stars with OK service. WiFi worked great!
“A Good Bet for Central Vienna”
Pleasant, comfortable hotel in a central position, but not too noisy. All the city centre sights were easily walkable, and our impression was that the hotel was good value for anyone who needs to be centrally located, and certainly cheaper than anything comparable on the Ring. Friendly and willing staff. Excellent breakfast, with a wide range of choice at the buffet, though not particularly cheap at 17 euros per person (better to go for an inclusive rate). Dinner at the restaurant was OK, but not outstanding, and the service was leisurely rather than attentive. Less appealing was a smell from the drains in our bathroom - it gradually got worse during our stay. You might want to check this before accepting the room you are offered, in case it's an ongoing issue. That apart, a nice hotel, recommendable for business or pleasure.
“A dash of class”
This is a bright, inviting hotel in an upmarket part of town but very convenient to Belvedere Gardens and a 15-minute walk to the Ringstrasse. The art deco motif sets a stylish tone which sets this hotel apart from some more prepackaged offerings. The room was comfortable, with a delightful king size bed and ultra-fluffy pillows. The breakfast buffet is one of the best, and the a la carte restaurant serves up haute cuisine dinners. Staff were helpful and professional. A little business centre with internet access was a handy bonus.
“may2012”
The hotel is in a great location. It is about 5 minutes from the state opera house, which is the hub for all sight seeing tours and shopping. The facility was clean and well maintained. We arrived early and were able to check-in earlier than regular time. Overall the experience was good. The customer service overall was very good, but there was a night manager who made some racist remarks and was offensive. All the other people were super nice and curteous. The other thing is the breakfast was 18 euro per person, which is a bit pricey. There are a lot of other options near by for half the price.
“Very friendly staff, very helpful”
Oveall I really enjoyed this hotel. The location was good the rooms were very similar to what you'd expect in a western hotel , like what you would see in a Hilton or hyatt hotel in the U.S. The staff was great - very helpful and friendly gave helpful pointers and directions and good recommendations. I would stay here again.
