“WE LOVED VIENNA!”
All we can say about the "Admiral" are good things. We arrived at the hotel quite early in the morning because of our early morning flight & were allocated our room immediately. That was very much appreciated so we could go out & about straight away. The room was spotless & very large with a brand new, refurbished bathroom! The location of the hotel is great: one of the main shopping streets Mariahilferstarsse is only a minute walk away & only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel is the Ringstrasse where all the nice buildings are: the Parlament, Rathaus, Burgtheater, Opera. Basically, the centre of Vienna is a stone's throw away. If you need to use the underground then the nearest U-bahn station is Volkstheater & from there less then five minutes to the hotel. Very convenient! We wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again, it's a very good 3* hotel in the heart of Vienna!
“Convenient location”
We were within easy walking distance of 2 underground stations. We could easily walk into central Vienna. The hotel was functional, there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but a teapot of hot water was available from reception and there was a fridge in the room. a good choice for a city break in Vienna.
“can't wait to go back”
the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and the location was steps away from shopping, museums, parks and underground...what more could you ask for?

Le personnel est très serviable. La chambre est correcte mais la salle de bains très petite et l'isolation insuffisante. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais c'est tous les jours la même chose ! L'hôtel est très bien situé (tram et métro à côté), dans une rue assez calme.
“Great location, value and service - dont need vista”
Despite the apparent invisibility of this hotel (in a sidestreet with no view ) it is fabulously placed for all your siteseeing needs. A quick walk to the museum quarter, the state opera, the shopping district and many of the best restaurants in town. The reception was extremely helpful, multi linqual - good recommendations for restaurant. Breakfast staff helpful despite the lanquage difference - we had her laying an egg to ask if we wanted eggs,

hotel clean but basic. Breakfast adequate. Hotel was used for 2/3 nights we stayed by rowdy school groups who thought it was fun to run amuck at 2-3 in the morning. Staff did offer us another room to try and improve situation, but the students kept up their rowdiness.
“find an alternate place”
Rooms should be ready by noon so that a guest returning from a walk in the morning say should have clean towel after a shower. One day they skipped cleaning altogether.
