I recently stayed at the ARCOTEL Wimberger Hotel in Vienna and found it to offer an average hotel experience. The amenities and service were about what you would expect from a mid-range hotel. The room itself was basic with standard furnishings and decor - nothing fancy but adequate for a comfortable stay.
However, the breakfast offered at the hotel was outstanding. There was a wide variety of breads, pastries, fruits, yogurts, eggs, meats and other hot items at the extensive breakfast buffet. The servers were also exceptional - very friendly, attentive and quick to refill coffee or clear plates. The breakfast made up for any other average aspects of the hotel.
Overall, the ARCOTEL Wimberger is a solid, standard hotel choice in Vienna. While the rooms and amenities are average, the stellar breakfast and great service in the morning make this hotel stand out. It's a good option if you want a convenient location in the city and don't need luxurious accommodations as long as you get a great start to your day with their breakfast.
