"Excellent hotel, great location"
After a less-than-perfect experience at another hotel in SPb, this was a good experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet at night, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good. The location was excellent - 10 minute bus journey from/to Pulkovo airport, 10 minute walk to Moskovskaya Metro then a 15 minute metro journey to the centre of SPb. Will definitely stay there again. Only downside: if you stay in a Standard room, you don't get free access to the swimming pool.

"Bare Bones"
Hotel has older rooms and renewed rooms. Watch out for the older ones, as they charge the same. Biggest complaint is that there was no internet access available in the rooms, and dial-up would not work through their phone system. Had to resort to business center limited hours, and did not have access to my laptop software. Great Location - near Metro Pobedy; interesting breakfast (get there early if you want a selection). Desk staff very courteous and English speaking.
