"Great location"
I loved the lobby and common rooms. The wood paneling and spacious reading room gave a real sense of history. The breakfast was fabulous. It is a hotel with real character.

"Brilliant "
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay because the staff were so friendly and helpful, the services first rate and the food excellent. The ambience was restful whilst the furnishings were splendid. A calm and relaxing stay with very good views from our bedroom of the harbour.

"Comfortable hotel centrally located."
I had a comfortable stay for a week. Was able to walk to many locations, restaurants and attractions and was near shopping and the inner harbor for taking a stroll. Was visiting a relative in town so had access to a car but could have done without it for most activities. The hotel staff was pleasant, even when I had to check-in in the middle of the night due to flight delays. The restaurant was closed or open limited hours most of the time when I was there but a new one was scheduled to open in the location soon. The noise from the bathroom fan was quite loud and could not be turned off without turning off the light. Accommodations were updated and in good condition. All in all it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

"Charming hotel!"
We rented a small suite so that we could fix breakfast and light suppers, and for the most part the Royal Scot was perfect. It was a little cramped for three people, and we wish a few more kitchen basics were provided. The staff went above and beyond our expectations - they were all lovely. The car service was another draw, and it also worked out perfectly for us. Our only serious dissatisfaction was the grocery recommendation - the only market they could recommend was incredibly expensive and had a very low diversity of products.

We arrived on the ferry and our hotel was right there. Our room was on the top floor with an awesome balcony over looking the harbor. Nice room, comfy beds and a kitchenette.

Perfect location. Easy walk to the inner harbour and on to downtown or over to fisherman's wharf. Easy to get around the major traffic if heading elsewhere in the city by car.
