“Best Hotel Yet”
Absolutely no complaints, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, made us up a special breakfast tray for an early start, couln't do enough for us. Well done to you all.
“are now looking forward to becoming regulars”
highly recommend it. personal service, VERY clean, quiet, ideal location, AND price was unbelievable! yes, the decor its a little outdated, the pic's on their website are true, but we loved it! small staff, who have long term guests and plan outings for them, activity and weather boards, and home made muffins in continental breakfast. looking forward to becoming a regular, was a little shocked when upgraded to full on kitchen, and yes their kitchen was bigger than ours, their stove is high end, and they stocked shelves, with all. loved the toilet paper points, and the maid washed the steps outside. unfortunately, my hubby liked the flat screen a little too much!
“"Good bargain, great location"”
Very pleasantly surprised to find that our lodging was just around the corner from the ferry. Even though we arrived early, the staff let us check in. Quickly discovered how close we were to downtown, which means we didn't have to drive much. The entire place was neat and clean. The staff was very helpful and polite. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and negated the need to go out for breakfast. Overall the Admiral Inn was a great bargain in an otherwise expensive location. Without question, we would stay there again.
“Enjoy your stay in Downtown Victoria in a charming nostalgic atmosphere”
This quaint motel styled hotel was dated but clean and well furnished. The walls between the bathroom adjacent was not soundproof, but the room itself was comfortable and reasonably priced. Breakfasts were offered in the lobby area, which was locked until 7:30. Some fruits were available, as well as breads, cereals, yoghurts, coffee, tea and juice. Laundry facilities are available too. Staff were helpful and offered advice if engaged in conversation. Proximity to the harbour and the downtown area was a big plus. Enjoy!
“"Great place to stay"”
Our stay at the Admiral Inn was great. The staff was pleasant, everything was clean and in order. The rooms are not new and modern, but more quaint and home-like. We had a pull out couch, desk, and refrigerator... great if we were staying for a week. The room was also very spacious. We had little plants/flowers growing outside our door (Don't know if all of them have that?) and a sliding glass door that opened up to a view of the Marina. We took the ferry from Port Angeles, WA over to Victoria for a few day trip, and the Hotel/Inn was located within a block of the port and a refreshing walk from all the main sites. We had several hours after check out before our ferry left, and they let us keep our bags at the hotel so we could go explore the city while our bags were safe. The location and feeling of the Inn were great, and it was one of the best prices at the time when I compared it to the other hotels. I would absolutely stay here again and was very happy.
“Will stay there again”
Fabulous location, good value, clean. Excellent continental breakfast, Very friendly helpful staff.
“Clean and Charming.”
We had a wonderful time staying at the Admiral. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. It felt like we were staying at a bed and breakfast but with the privacy of a hotel. I would definitely return for another stay/
“"Awesome"”
"Awesome!" is what my child said about the Admiral Inn and he has stayed in a number of 4 star hotels. The location, staff and value for money were all excellent. The rooms could use an updated paint scheme and new carpet but the size of the rooms was great. There was an overwhelming floral scent (carpet deodorizer?) so had to air out the room upon our arrival but that gave us the opportunity to appreciate our little patio. Hard to say what the noise level would be like if the inn was really busy-we had some sound issues from the room above us on the second night-but would whole heartedly recommend the Admiral.
“Absolutely Perfect!”
We had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect. Roomy room. Clean. Weather was good. We didn't use the kitchenette but it was stocked and ready for us. Close to the Clipper dock. Not a luxurious place but well worth the money -- quaint and fun. Breakfast was very basic but certainly okay. Glad we found the Victoria.
“Great hotel - good location and price!”
