“Peaceful stay with great water views”
Peaceful, small hotel with clean, modern rooms. Haro's restaurant in the hotel had great service but food isn't worth writing about.
“First class boutique hotel in great location.”
The shops and restaurants in the town of Sidney can be enjoyed by walking from the hotel. The surrounding area can be explored by car or bicycle.
“Sidney Pier and Spa - beautiful”
Brand new hotel, with large ultra modern clean rooms. We had a room overlooking the harbour and the view was spectacular. It is only steps from the shops, restaurants, services of the downtown of picturesque hamlet of Sidney. As a bonus, the street market was on the day we were there; artisans and farmers selling their wares. Only 10 min to the Victoria, BC airport.
“The perfect place to stay”
In one word "Perfect"

Great location. The rooms were spacious clean and very well appointed. Truly a high end accommodation. The beds are very comfortable. The staff very polite friendly and helpful. Very much enjoyed our. Lastly the parking was a big plus also.
“Beautiful Sidney”
We spent one night at the Hotel. We checked in early in the day and checked out about 10 the next morning. The service was excellent from everyone at the hotel, including Dave, the hotel dog. The room was beautiful looking out over the strait with windows that open. It was a wonderful experience.
“We look forward to returning”
We stayed at many hotels during our three week vacation to Canada and the Sidney Pier Hotel was our favorite. So much so that we decided to go back and stay there at the end of our trip instead of where we had originally planned. The location is amazing. We loved walking our small dog along the pier early in the morning. The in-room amenities are first class, along with the brand of coffee they provide, but we liked grabbing a coffee at the shop connected to the hotel. It opens at 6:30a.m. and has great baked goods. The staff was exceptionally friendly and David the black lab that hangs out in the lobby is a wonderful greeter. This is a true friendly dog hotel. The hotel is also tranquil and very clean. There are many great restaurants within walking distance and the famous Butchard Gardens is a twenty-minute drive away. We will definitely return to The Sidney Pier Hotel and Spa.
“Very relaxing!”
This was our first time using this hotel and we would definately go back! The staff are extremely friendly, atmoshere is very relaxing and the rooms are great! Sidney, BC is a quaint place and this hotel is right on the main street so the location is close to restaurants and water activities.
“Pampered in Sydney”
This hotel was spacious, clean and the staff were really helpful. We had a water view and it was spectacular. The fitness room was great, with a nice selection of materials available for use, it even included a Bosu Ball! The spa had a full complement of treatments available that add to the hotel's enjoyability. We would happily recommend this hotel to others looking for a relaxing stay outside of Victoria and can't wait to return.
“Where's Dave?”
We were quite pleased with the hotel. The people were friendly, the rooms very nice and the service good. The only thing that we missed was Dave!
