“CONVENIENT LOCATION”
It is very convenient for the centre of Victoria
“A pleasant stay”
We had 3 of us in the room, with 2 double beds, there was plenty of room for us to spread out our bags, clothes, and shopping at the end of the day. The room was ready when we arrived early, and was clean, warm & quiet. We would definitely stay there again.
“Will be using Paul's again”
This hotel is a basic comfort hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful and are employees of long standing. The room has Microwave, coffeemaker, small fridge, Iron and board, hairdryer, TV, phone, in room safe box, but no radio. The resturant is good diner food. All food was fresh, all pastrys were made in house. Great Cheese Cake.
“clean, comfortable & very reasonably priced”
We stayed at Paul's for 2 nights, and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, and how comfy and spacious they were. The price is very reasonable, especially considering it is just a short walk from some of the more interesting sights & amenities. Surprisingly, we also found this to be one of the quietest hotels we've stayed in, and even our 10 month-old son napped well during the day, & slept soundly all night long, which is quite remarkable for him!
“Will stay here again”
Very impressed with cleanliness, service, no complaints, other than the fact that there was take out food left in the refridgerator from previous guest and coffee was not refilled until our last night there from before we checked in. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend to others.
“Pleasantly surprised”
When we arrived we were upgraded to a courtyard room. The rooms were very nice. The location was quiet and just enough out of the downtown area to provide a sense of privacy. Yet, the downtown area was within easy walking distance. I am still not sure if a breakfast was included with the room. There is a nice little restaurant in the hotel. We found a great place (QV Bakery and Cafe) on Government street near the hotel where we had breakfast each day.
“Love staying here.”
We have stayed here several times. We have never been disappointed. It is close to the heart of Victoria, Chinatown and the waterfront. The best breakfast in Victoria at John'lace is anly two blocks away. Each room has cedar accents that can not be duplicated in this ear of cheap lumber. Highly recommended
“Paul's Motor a Victoria Classic”
Paul's Motor is a long time favourite of mine. I mostly use it for business, the hotel has all the amenities I need. Rooms are clean, simple and very comfortable. It is my #1 choice.
“Great place to stay for family”
It is a great motel with best price. Clean and nice. Walking to chinatown just 2 blocks. We do not need ride vehicle to Victoria downtown. Parking is free and convenient. Microwave and refrig is useful if you have baby.
“We'll stay here again!!”
We've stayed at several Victoria hotels over the past few years, and are often looking for something in the 'budget' range, as we come to Vic. fairly often to visit children/grandchildren. We have found this to be one of the best so far and were very impressed with the quietness - even though we were very near the lobby; the bathroom was CLEAN, a rarity it seems; and the room was very spacious and well furnished.
