“Ok bet even better in the summer..”
very inexpensive, we stayed in the low season so i understand that the staff is short, we really would have loved to have a restaurant and a lounge n site but maybe they have that during the regular season, all claims by others as far as poor conditions and bed bugs are unfounded and serioulsy not fair to the establishment, we were well taken care of houskeeping was on time all the time and even washed my dishes and picked up my socks.. (ha ha) thank you to the staff and manegment for an enjoyable stay we will be returning soon!! also to be fair to the establishment its tough right now, and they deserve better ratings due to the economy, this is a medium sized hotel almost quaint in its size.. And clean throughout..so if you want a nice place to stay with reasonable rates and personilized experience this is where yo uneed to be, I really feel for the sole waitress in the restaurant in the morning...tough Job, she deserves a raise..
“honest”
Had a great time, only wished the shops nearby were still open; also did not realize the restaurant closed at 2pm. The picture on line made it look like it had a bar too; yet overall we had a great time. We are coming back in July with friends.
“Victoria visit”
Very nice. Great lobby and friendly staff. Close to attractions, food and shopping.
“Nice, quaint, and a harbor view from our room.”
It was our anniversary so our daughters had upgraded us to a harbor view room before we arrived. It was fantastic. Hunningdon was just a short walk from where the Victoria Clipper docks. Its staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints with the service or the room. The resturant seemed to have just reopended at the time of our stay, so it was not completely stocked. No matter as we found plenty to choose from near the motel.
“Enjoyed our stay.”
Excellent staff and location. Close to major attractions in Victoria and near the water.
“Perfect in Every Way!”
My son and I spent only one night at the hotel, but it was a good one! The hotel itself is charming, and conveniently located in the heart of Victoria. The staff are helpful and courteous, and helped make our stay an enjoyable one. I would happily stay here again.
“I will continue to stay here”
I am in Victoria fairly often. The staff are very good, friendly, people. My lone complaint is the lack of free parking. There is plenty of space in the lot.
“Huge room with a view.”
I booked the 'mid-price' room because it was guaranteed to be non-smoking. The room was much larger than expected - we had the usual bed, tv console, and desk, but also a table with chairs and a full kitchenette with stove, sink, microwave, and full-size frig. Hotel is right on the harbor, across from ferry terminal, so no taxi needed to get to for from the ferry.
“Great place to stay!”
We were thrilled with our hotel accommodations. The hotel was right there in the inner harbor of Victoria where we could just walk to all the happenings around the area. The room was clean, comfortable and met all our expectations and then some.
“Nice Hotel, Great Location”
Located in a quiet neighbourhood, few steps from the harbour. perfect.
