“Will stay again”

Our hotel room was nice and clean. We did not have any problems with services. It is located not far away from downtown and we were able to take bus # 11 to get there. You do not need to drive all the time in Victoria. Will stay in this hotel again.

“Can't wait to back to Victoria”

The staff were very friendly, and the little pub in the hotel was fantastic. Every nite they had a different function going on. One nite was a blues jamming session, one nite karoke, one nite a band. And the locals were very friendly. The hotel staff were lots of fun. We enjoyed our stay there very much

“Olddie But Gooddie”

Thought the hotel was very clean, great service, nice rooms, and really liked having a kitchen in the room. The hotel is old, like a lot of things in Victoria. The hotel was probably at its best in the 70's. But, worth the putting up with the rundownness for the price. Easy access to downtown, also a big reason why we stayed there.

“Across from the Trail!!!”

A comfortable "lower-cost" hotel with good friendly management and staff and across from an access to the Galloping Goose Trail which is half hour walk to downtown. Older hotel so you can hear any noisy fellow guests but overall a fairly good deal. Manager is great!!

“Expectations”

People need to remember that this is a 2 star hotel, not the MGM in Las Vegas. My room was somewhat dated and could use some updated furniture, but what was there was in good shape and was comfortable. Yes they still have the old style of TV instead of the new LCD/Plasma but who cares, it worked fine. The pub food was good, just again don't expect a 5 course meal being served by a waiter wearing white gloves. I found the food and service to be fine. The pool and change rooms were no different than any other pool room that I have been in. Over all everything was good. Just don't expect more than you pay for.

“Great price for full kitchen”

The Kitchen suite was very functional and allowed me to save a lot of money by eating groceries. The location was very nice to me. The gorge area has a lot of modern condos and walk/run/bike trails with excellent water views. To save on parking i took the bus that conveniently stops almost right out in front and goes direct to downtown. I never used the swimming pool facilities so i cannot comment. The staff were amiable and helpful.

“Very good stay”

The staff was very friendly, everything was very clean and although I was worried about several concerns, everything was resolved thanks to the friendly receptionist.
