“Nice Hotel, but lousy remotes”

TV remotes don't work well at all. Clerk at desk told me they just work poorly. Was a major workout in frustration just trying to change channels.

“Pleasant stay, minor inconveniences”

The reception staff were very pleasant, but there was only one. If more than one guest were looking for service it would take several minutes before a request could be addressed. The custodial staff did not follow a routine from day to day. It was difficult for you to know when your room would be made up and to plan accordingly.

“Disappointed with this visit”

i had stayed in this hotel previously in a regular room and was pleased with the experience. For this visit, I wanted the flexability of a kitchenette to prepare some food and snacks, so paid what I considered to be a much higher rate for a sink, counter, no table to sit at, had to ask for the microwave and cooking things, and still was not worth it to try to boil water on a whimpy hot plate. This room did not meet expectations. There were no chairs or anywhere to sit to moniter the kids in the pool despite a big sign saying not to leave them there alone. The exercise room had what I needed and was stocked with towels and wipes. the only restaurant at the hotel is a pub, so no kids except for breakfast.

“Average”

We found the hotel average while expecting above average. Our view was of Costco and although a king bed was requested, when we arrived we were informed that they had no such thing for that room type. The taps in the bathroom ran very slow and it was difficult to get a good stream of cold water.

“only if you're driving”

This is a nice hotel, but we did have a couple of minor issues here. First, it's a 10 minute drive from Victoria, so only stay here if you have a car. Victoria is lovely, worth exploring, so a downtown hotel is probably better if you can find a good one. Nevertheless, the place was extremely clean and easy to find, and the rooms were nicely set up. The second issue was the staff. Very young, and not friendly. We are savvy, low-maintenance travelers. Our questions weren't stupid or demanding, but the Front Desk Princesses were curt and dismissive. Lastly, this is a new hotel, so noise carries through the halls. There was a family with children three doors down from us, and we were near the rumbly ice machine. Our sleep was frequently interrupted. (This is obviously a kid-friendly hotel, so that may be a plus for some.) On a final positive note, the shower at the Four Points is fabulous. Expedia doesn't let you rate the bathrooms in hotels, which is a shame, because I loved this one.

“Very Disappointed.”

Location is in the suburbs, overlooking a Costco parking lot. We were given the first room on the ground floor, just off the lobby and the stairway down to the pub (were told that it was the only room available at time of check-in). The noise of the lobby area, the kids running down the hallway screaming on their way to the pool, and the late night pub parties - all made for an unenjoyable stay. Additionally, to drown out the noise, we ordered a movie-on-demand and it continually skipped...handyman was sent to room, and when he could not fix, then promised us a refund, yet found it on our bill at checkout. Staff was young and unattentive. Other than the cleanliness of the room, the only other positive thing about the stay was the outstanding food at the pub.

“Hotel with no insulation. Hear the person next to you all around you and out side. Food is horible.”

This hotel has gone cheap on insulation. You will hear the rooms around you cough, talk on the phone, alarm go off, and even when they go poop. Pillows cheap. Hotel room service food is horible considering I paid 28$ for a chicken burger with fries and a ice tea. I recieved no sleep while their and would not stay again. If your room is near the bistro you can gear their out door music in your room until 10pm.
