“Bear in mind, great ratings relative to budget hotel expectations”
I needed a place to stay the night before the Victoria Marathon. The "affordable" (but still nice) hotels were sold out by the time I looked, so I ended up at Comfort Hotel and Conference Center (otherwise I would have had to book the Fairmont, which was ridiculously out of my price range). Normally a budget hotel would not be my first choice, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the courteous staff, clean rooms, and convenience of the location (less than a block from Douglass St, on which most of the buses go downtown). My rate included hot or continental breakfast for two as well. Apparently the pub attached the hotel is pretty decent as well (did not have time to explore, unfortunately). I would definitely consider staying here again.

Nice, clean and updated hotel, large rooms, good amenities, close to downtown, good parking (free too). Breakfast included - surprise - was not listed on Expedia's site. Definitely worth the money!

Stayed a couple of nights at the beginning of our vacation and enjoyed it so much, returned later and spent three more enjoyable days !

Very nice hotel and pleasant staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The on-site pub served us a great evening meal and drinks. Had only one minor issue:the restaurant that served the complementary breakfast was short staffed so we needed to wait about 15 minutes for breakfast. Fortunately, coffee was immediately available and very good. Book this location with confidence and you will not be disappointed!
“Nice hotel and great value - Will stay there again!”
This is an exceptional place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anyoneone with high standards. The room was perfectly cleaned every day and the staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for where to go. It isnt located downtown but parking is included and the area has everything you need within walking distance.

Nice big room, very comfortable bed, helpful front desk people, breakfast was basic, but the hot dishes were appreciated. Only gripe would be a loud heating/AC unit. Very convenient to Mayfair Mall! A very pleasant stay overall.
“Great value”
Comfort Hotel and Conference Center was a great value. It was close enough to downtown to be convenient, but far enough to be priced right and have a little more quiet. Rooms were comfy and clean, and the continental breakfast offered was actually a full breakfast with eggs and ham/sausage and you can make your own fresh waffles. We would stay here again.

This hotel was clean and comfortable and a pleasant place to stay. It is not downtown so exploring the city center will require a car or bus transport into the city center. The staff was pleasant.
