“This hotel is NOTclose to the Parliament Bld. or downtown”
the hotel was fine but we came on foot from the ferry so had to figure out buses to be able to get to hotel.
“You Can't Beat the Price and Comfort”
Although a ways out of town, it is very convenient on the bus line. A fantastic mall is right across the street (includes food court), rooms large and very clean. Bedding, pillows and mattress were very comfortable. You can't beat the price!! Employees very helpful and friendly. Computer available in lobby, Denny's, Starbucks and KFC next door. On site breakfast but we didn't try it. If you go to Burchart Gardens, take the CVS bus for sure!!! Only 10 dollars each way. Kiosk in downtown Victoria, also include the city tour, well worth it!! Free tour of parliment building was great! City bus is excellent and goes everywhere! We walked along the shore on every walkway and you can get some excellent shots of the area.....everyone is so healthy and happy. Very friendly city :) Bring a jacket, I was cold!!!

“Best Value in VIctoria for cheap!”
Stayed with my wife and six year old daughter. Usually I stay at a Luxury Hotel in Victoria, but went cheap this time but reviews were so good for this motel we took a chance. Very satisfied. We only stayed one night but enjoyed the very warm pool twice. Very friendly staff. Nothing fancy but a well maintained, recently painted motel. The indoor pool has glass garage doors along each side they open up when the weather suits. Also a dry sauna. Best $85 I could have spent. Easy access from the main street, Denny's basically next door, a mall across the street and maybe 5 minute drive to the Harbour area.
“Clean & comfortable but poor neighbourhood”
The hotel was clean, nice swimming pool & sauna. Staff friendly & helpful. For the price it was very suitable. Neighbourhood left something to be desired, though - noisy, dirty. Came back to the hotel one night and there was an ambulance across the parking lot - the KFC manager was being taken away.
“Good value”
Victoria can be a pricey place to stay, so we took a chance on this hotel - about the cheapest we could find online. It turned out to be a winner. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the indoor pool was the warmest I've ever been in. The hotel is also just across the street from a mall, which is handy. And it is not difficult to get to from the inner harbor - just catch a bus on Douglas Street and it's about 2 miles. All in all, this is a great place to stay if your budget doesn't stretch to the Empress!
“it was nice & comfy”
it was nice. i was pleasantly surprised when we entered the room, it was nice and large, clean, and comfy. there wasn't any air conditioning, but it was cool at night.

front desk very helpful, room clean. issues: no air conditioning thus windows open, quite a bit of traffic noise. no other issues.
“Nice hotel at a budget price”
The Blue Ridge Inn in Victoria was a very nice. The rooms are a good size and ours came with a mic. and frdge at no extra charge. The front desk staff were very friendly and solved a couple of small concerns very quickly for us. The indoor pool and sauna were exceptional, as well as kept very clean. Covenient location as it was quick to get to Downtown, Esquimalt, or out to Sydney. I would defintely stay there again.
“Noisy but otherwise OK for the price”
If you have a very light sleep, I wouldn't recommend it as it is quite noisy. The room was clean, they have friendly staff and they have a swimming pool that was a plus for the children
