It was all so wonderful I scarce know where to begin! We arrived in the afternoon at a stately premises and were ushered in by Jenny, a most welcoming hostess. This is a Victorian era home, early 1900’s, updated and restored to all its former glory. Dark paneling, actual fireplaces, creaky floors, high ceilings all setting the mood. The library was special, containing perhaps 500 books and artifacts of a bygone era. We stayed in a suite having had the choice of two, both magnificent. In the morning a catered breakfast is served in a sun filled nook and that too was splendid. Victoria’s primary attractions are within walking distance of The Beaconsfield and we eagerly looked forward to returning to the residence in the evenings to slip back into the feel of a golden age. The Beaconsfield is highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at Beaconsfield Inn. Our room was cozy & comfortable, the breakfast options were curated & delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quaint & unique experience in Victoria!

The suite my wife and I stayed for 4 nights in needed to be renovated or badly in need of some major repairs. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced as it caused all kinds of problems including dust and smell. The doors and windows don't shut properly, either. The hostess', Jenny and Su-Bin, worked hard, but there was only so much they could do because the property, at least the suite we stayed in, needed a whole new makeover, it seems!

This building is a well-maintained Victorian style mansion. Very close to Beacon hill and Inner harbour but it's located inside a quiet neighborhood. Liked staying at the Beaconfield Suite. The other parts like of the property were antique and posh. We'd love to stay in the other rooms when we revisit Victoria next time.

Very pretty B&B. Good location with ample parking. Breakfast was beautifully presented by a very gracious woman. It was served from 8:30 to 9:30. We stayed in the lovely parlor room. Recommend this B&B.

My favourite was the breakfast and how accomodating Martin and staff were to my needs.Friendly peaceful atmosphere without being stuffy. My only suggestion is the bedside lamps could be brighter for reading.

The Beaconsfield Inn is a lovely property in a quiet neighborhood, but also very close to the various sights downtown. It is entirely walkable to the Harbour, downtown shopping, and many food options.

Wonderful historic building with lots of charm. Clean and accessible. Loved relaxing at day's end in the shaded rose arbor on the property. Great breakfasts served in the sunroom. No elevators, so make sure guests can climb stairs.

A truly lovely home, excellent breakfast, excellent staff. Our room was comfortable, spacious and pretty. The room lighting is poor and I was unable to read in bed the first night. I asked for a reading lamp the next day and it was provided right away. The bedding was slippery and loose and tended to bunch up under us.

Beautiful property. It was like stepping back in time. Our bedroom was spacious and gorgeous, bed was very comfy. Breaking delicious and pretty fancy. I would recommend this property..definitely Beautiful

The staff are lovely, the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The rooms are spacious and the decor is exactly what the outside of the building would make you expect. Comfortable bed and our room even had a working fireplace...we can't recommend this facility enough. And a perfect location - incredible city park, ocean view, interesting neighbourhoods and downtown all within walking distance!

Loved the setting and interior decor - like stepping back in time! Very refreshing! The service was lovely and the breakfast was delicious - would definitely recommend staying here! One thing I would suggest is placing a kettle and some tea or coffee in each room for guests to have access to hot water.

Cut romantic getaway.
This is a very beautiful old manor turned into a B and B. the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very well made. The location is very convenient to downtown Victoria. I recommend staying here for a weekend getaway.

Very nice stay
This is a very nice B and B. The breakfast was outstanding, the appointment very comfortable. There were a few minor maintenance issues that mean the building is showing its age, but nothing that hurt the overall quality of my stay. Highly recommended! (Note: the inn does not appear to be accessible, and may prove a challenge for people with sore knees.)
