Beautiful property. Lovely staff. Delicious breakfast and snacks. Sherry served 5-7 pm was the cherry on the top. Great parking and walking distance from shops, restaurants and the ocean. We’ll be back.

Quiet unique boutique hotel one block off the Main Street. Walkable and close to many dinning option. They provided morning breakfast and coffee in your room. 😊 Recommend as a great place to stay.

Beacon Inn at Sidney - wonderful boutique hotel!
The hotel is decorated in a Victorian style. The lobby and common areas are lovely and were all decked out for Christmas. Our room was also very nicely and tastefully decorated as well as being extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return for another stay.

Staff were great. Room was lovely, clean,comfortable. Bathroom was a good size witha soaker tub and seperate shower. The continental breakfast would be good but sadly either someone took ours or it was not made up as on our second morning it was very good. TV could be a bit larger as ours was a a 27" monitor style. Overall very good and in a great location. I highly recommend

Locked out.
I did not stay at this hotel. The door was locked. I had prearranged with them for me to arrive after the office had closed. I arrived at 830pm and after several fruitless attempts to contact the owners, I had to give up and go to another hotel. I would like a refund.

We routinely welcome late arriving guests without incident. All late arriving guests are provided with detailed instructions for gaining entry after our front desk closes at 8pm which includes a code for keyless entry. Our records indicate these insructions were provided to you via the email address provided to us with your booking 2 days prior and also shows online as having been received. I arrived late and departed early so I didn't have the opportunity to meet the staff. It has a good location and is the type of accomodation that my wife and I like. We will stay there again.

Breakfast was for one person to be shared by 2 people. The receptionist said she would fix it but did not fix it. Breakfast is frozen meals from Costco. Images and write-ups are deceiving. Certainly not worth the $200 we paid for the one night. I ended up having breakfast at a nice local restaurant. I hope they refund me the $50 spent on breakfast.

Regrettably there was some confusion regarding the number of guests staying, however after bringing it to the attention of a member of our staff, an addidional "complimentary continental-style" breakfast was provided. I can also assure you that our breakfast items (mini-quiches, egg bites, muffins) are made inhouse and not frozen from Costco as suggested. This is such a beautiful little property with lovely touches for your stay (sherry in the late afternoon, bathrobes, onsite parking, nice continental breakfast) and all at a good price. Would absolutely recommend it.

Quaint little Inn. Rooms are given specific names. Please note the airport is close but wasn’t an issue at night. Breakfast was a continental bfast and was good. Overall a good stay.

Wonderful little inn near water in Sidney. Nearby shopping and dining and close to walking trails along the coast. Serves a nice breakfast and just a short ride to the airport. Much better than staying at a chain hotel at the airport!

The check inn clerk was so friendly and was ready for our arrival. They were able to accommodate our early check-in request, which was wonderful. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. It is such a convenient location for all the excitement happening in Sidney. Easy to walk everywhere.

The property is very nice but needs to go back to daily in room service for cleaning. Canadian hotels have opted to keep COVID measures in place with having no staff entering the room to freshen it for guests daily which feels like nothing more than a cost saving tactic. There was a TIPs envelope yet we had to do everything for ourselves. Will not be returning to hotel stays in Canada until the practise of daily servicing of rooms and ensuring it is a treat to stay at a hotel returns.

Classy and feels like home!
The Inn is a 3 storey building, classy, neat and tidy area from the reception to the room that we were assigned to stay for a night. We met the receptionist, i think Natalie was her name, and oriented us on their place. The room was homey and classy. She prepared a welcome basket for us and our breakfast package which was stored in the fridge. I like the bedroom and washroom how they interiorly designed it. We will definitely come back again. Well done!
