Very pleasant accommodation with a lovely terrace to sit out for breakfast when the weather is good. Very centrally located indeed but still quiet. Not easy to find on first visit as rhe name on the door outside can very easily be missed, but otherwise a really good place to stay and an excellent welcome.

Great B&B
Wonderful b&b, breakfast and location. Supermarket at door steps. Bathrooms were spotless and I never had a problem to have one available. Breakfast at the balcony was a bliss

The apartments are in a very good location, beautiful building/house, gorgeous entrance and big clean room! Our Breakfast was delicious with many varieties of pastries, snacks, tasty coffee, fruits! Daniella took a great care of us, we are very -very pleased with our experience and definitely recommend this apartments to our friends. Many thanks for your hospitality, Daniela!

Well located spacious room
Spacious room in shared apartment, newly refurbished bathrooms, well located for arena and city centre. Very good breakfast in sunny room. Check in requires a phone call so take a charged up phone.

Fantastic location for the Opera! Minutes from the Verona Arena, sites, cafés, shopping. The rooms and breakfast are a little tired (why was my room an African theme in Verona?), but the shared bathrooms were updated and perfectly clean - there are 3 so no problem finding one available. I unfortunately had a cold shower 2 of the 4 days I stayed. But can't beat the location if you're on a budget.

About the room prices
It shouldn’t charge a single room with double room price. As I booked a twin bed with that price, however I only get a single bed room, then I think to be fair, is it possible to have different prices for the single room and double room?

We stayed here for one night on our visit to the Verona Opera. Everything went fine - the room was large and comfortable and the included breakfast was high quality. You have to share a bathroom but this was clear from the booking form and not a problem for us (in fact there are two bathrooms, shared among three guest rooms). The staff were helpful, in particular, when I forgot to print out the opera tickets, a manager came from another building to help us with that. All we could ask for and a good price for the location.

My wife, son, and I stayed for eight nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and the staff was wonderful. At one point I mentioned how much I enjoyed the strawberries at breakfast to the host. I noticed that every morning after she made sure to include strawberries. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and nice b&b
PROS: Great location and lovely building, spotlessly clean. Share bathrooms not an issue as there are three and I never had to wait, and kept very clean CONS: would be nice to have access to living room and balcony during the day, instead of just at breakfast. One toilet is not bolted to floor and tries to buck you off if your balance is not perfect. Elevator seems to breakdown quite regularly so if five flights of stairs are an issue, this might be a problem for you. Generally, a very pleasant stay.

Fantastic location but only street parking
Very spacious room. 5 minutes walk from Verona Opera. Supermarket 2 minutes walk, on the same street. We had to leave early so missed out on the breakfast provided but it smelt wonderful! Use the bathroom on the left hand end. I found it was the most spacious.

Wonderful service, excellent location
It was a great facility (air condition in rooms, nice dining room, good food) and excellent service and very good location, but a few things didn't work (tap water temperature constantly changed during shower, bedside lamp didn't work, Internet connection was poor, etc.), shared bathroom meant little privacy after shower while walking through a shared corridor, plus the noise coming both from the corridor inside the B&B (no soundproof doors) and from the street constantly overnight (people listening to music, singing, delivery offloading overnight to local supermarket every 2 hours, wheely bin emptying at 6am, etc.) meant I couldn't sleep most of the nights.

Fabulous location in Verona. Walked to everything, especially the Opera. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Hosts put in a lot of effort to make the breakfast and our stay enjoyable.

GEM IN VERONA
We spent 3 nights at the Al Filarmonico, it was extremely good value for money and on arrival we were surprised at how close it was to the main square housing the Arena, five minutes walk!! The room was comfortable and clean with air-conditioning, which, in July is absolutely essential. The breakfast buffet which is included in the price of the room was excellent and I was lucky enough to get a table on the balcony in the sun, a great way to start the day. The owners of the hotel were very pleasant and I would most definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers and, if I return to Verona in the future would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Well located near the main piazza in Verona, any easy walk to the opera. We had a shared bathroom, which we knew about however, in Verona most people are going to the opera so a little difficult to get a shower of an evening! Nice breakfast room.

Nice place close to Arena
Very Good location, nice breakfast, clean quite room and bathrooms. It was on 5 th floor you used old fassion elevator it was also interesting. Wonderful dining room and balcony but when i arrived the hotel at 9 pm they complained my check in time although it was before 10 pm. I felt terrible after my long trip with long delays. I didnt understad why they behaved like this.

Great, centrally located B&B for group/family
The hotel was perfect for a large family. We wanted to stay near the attractions and in one, large room. We shared three bathrooms with other guests but found that this was easy. The breakfast was good. The place was a little hard to find (in a building across from the theater). Great place for the money!

Great small hotel off Piazza Bra. Two minutes walk from amphitheatre. Supermarket very close. Room great condition and very clean. Balcony with sun the morning. Breakfast good, self service with wide choice. Staff helpful but no reception, had to call to pay prior to checkout as had early start. Otherwise perfect for couple of nights in centre of Verona. Good price too.

Hotel is near the Arena and Shopping Street,on the 5th floor of the apartment building. Elevator to the 5th floor is available to use. Hotel itself very basic with shared bathrooms (3 bathrooms right across from the rooms). Rooms have AC. Safe area. Would be hard to call it a hotel, more like rooms to sleep. The hostess of the hotel asks to pay for the hotel in cash. For the same money we had a much better hotel in Milan.

We only had 2 days so it was useful to be in such a central location. The Hotel although small had a nice ambience about it. The owners obviously paid a lot of attention to the detail of the decor. The breakfast was excellent with a generous supply of fresh fruit each day. The coffee machine was the only disappointment as everything had sugar added so we couldn't use it. However there were plenty of fruit drinks. All in all a pleasant if pricey place to stay.

Wouldn't stay here in hot months
They asked for our arrival time since they don’t have someone there 24/7. I replied with a 2-hour window. I asked about parking but the instruction we got wasn’t clear. Once we were closer I sent an SMS with a 15 min window, and another another SMS when we arrived. The building is not marked and hard to find. No response to either of the SMS messages. We arrived, tried to figure out parking, and were stuck in the heat with our bags. Still no one was there and I had to call, then wait. They put us in a nice quad room and turned on a portable A/C. They should have turned this on before we arrived to make the room comfortable. 2 hrs later it was still unbearable. I had to send an SMS as we were only given 1 towel for 4 people. The owner came with the towels and I asked her about the A/C. She actually had 2 other rooms available that had much better, installed A/Cs and she moved us (why wasn't this done originally?). The hall between the bedrooms and the 3 shared baths was HOT. And the bathrooms also had no A/C. They are very clean though. Sharing the baths would not have been a problem except that one guest had decided that a bathroom was hers. Breakfast was good but also in a hot room. The location was ideal- by the arena. I was asked to pay cash upon checkout but I refused, and she easily took the credit card. With the elevator out and the heat I was not walking down the street to an ATM and back up 5 flights to help her evade taxes.

Location is good, close to middle of town, supermarket within a few minutes. Room condition is fair. Breakfast is the basics. It would be good if the owner is willing to offer basic drinking water where we were told to buy bottled water. Bottled water is cheap but bottled water is very environmental unfriendly. The B&B I went to in Venice, as an example, was more than happy to help filling up my water bottle.

We had trouble finding this B&B because we were looking for a hotel. The owner came looking for us as we were late arriving. However once we settled into our very large room with everything we could want, we were given a cold drink and made very welcome. Although we had to share the three bathrooms, it wasnt a problem as there were only four or five rooms.

Al Filarmonico is a modest bed and breakfast with shared bathrooms. The rates are very reasonable and the property is well kept. Breakfast is included with the accommodations. If you don't need hotel luxury accommodations and would rather something that feels connected to the place you are visiting this is a great choice. The managers are helpful welcoming. Highly recommended.

We were in and out of Verona in just 24 hours, but our stay at this wonderful B&B was just perfect. A little tricky to find, but centrally located, secure, and very clean.

A great place!
My first visit to Verona for sightseeing, and this B&B was really excellent value and more than lived up to my expectations. Even though I had to share a bathroom, there are three and I never had to queue. Everything comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast of homemade cake, yogurt, cereals, boiled egg, ham, toast, fresh fruit etc. i will definitely return soon! Vittoria is a charming hostess!

This B&B was in an awesome location! Five minutes away from Piazza Bra, five minutes from the arena and 10 minutes from everything else. The room is spacious enough and very comfortable, the breakfast is more than your standard bread cheese and cereal. The ownerd are wonderful nice people who are very accomodating. I would definitely return to this B&B.

Quad room in Shared apartment for those on budget
This is really just a centrally located apartment where 3 or 4 rooms are rented out. There is a communal dining area for breakfast, which is reasonable, without getting too excited. The 2 bathrooms are shared. We used a quad room for a family of four and it was spacious and comfortable. Really it was a budget option for us for one night and was in a convenient location - easy walk from station and just within the old town walls with the arena literally around the corner. It is not a hotel, nor can you expect the services that you normally might do from a hotel. For example check I. Needs to be arranged in advance so you can actually get in! As long as you are okay with the downsides, it is quite a good option for budget travel.

We had a little trouble finding the building and buzzer for this B&B in the dark, but when we finally figured it out it was really nice. It was located in the middle of most everything in Verona so you can be very efficient with your time there. Also provided a very nice breakfast.

Perfect Location
The Al Filarmonico is one of several B&Bs in the same building on a quiet side street about one block from the Piazza 'Bra and the Roman Arena, where the operas are performed in summer. Location could not be better. The room we had was basic, but adequate. They opened breakfast early for us since we had an early train. We stayed in the same B&B last year and both years the credit card machine was "not working," so we had to pay cash. If it happened once, ok, but twice? Also note that the B&B is also called "Al teatro" or "Al teatro filarmonico." You need to know that when you ring the bell. Be sure to call beforehand to let them know when you will arrive, so someone will be there to meet you.

The hotel was nice enough for cleanliness and location, and if you go on vacation to meet lots of new people, the common bathrooms and the too-communal breakfast room, give you plenty of opportunity. There is no front desk, so you need a cellphone to contact the hotel staff. Their desire to know when you will arrive is so that someone will be there to let you in.

Had trouble finding place. Rang the buzzer, no one answered. We called 2 numbers provided and emailed, no response. A man finally answered and told us to go away and come back later. We had luggage so we waited until 7:30. After the bad start it got better. Best location, right outside arch of town. One minute walk. Market and great restaurants very close. Room big and nice. Shared Bathrooms spotless. Nice breakfast. Advice: arrange an exact checkin time.

Had a lovely stay at the Filarmonico last weekend with Vittoria et al. Double room booked as single. Would have been a bit small for a double room but great as a single! 3 shared bathrooms so only had to wait once. Good breakfasts. Very central, just 2 minute walk from Piazza Bra' and the arena! Big supermarket next door. Bus stops at the end of the road. Could not be more conveniently situated!

The B&B is difficult to find - there is no large sign or anything. The room was spacious; however did not come with ensuite (our fault for not double checking when booking) - anyway the two bathrooms always seemed to be occupied when I wanted to use them (even though there aren't many rooms). Breakfast room was nice. In the end, the room (without ensuite) seems overpriced - but I got that impression that Verona is $$$! Who knew!

Fantastic B&B near the Roman Forum
What a great little B&B! Great price and location a stones throw from the Roman Forum. Room is really spacious and comfortable, you do get some outside noise so if your a light sleeper, take ear plugs. Shared bathrooms are huge and clean. Nice breakfast provided. Hotel is on the 5th floor but an elevator is provided.
