“A Good Bargain”

The hotel is like something out of the '70s. However, it is well kept up, clean, and very well located. Every room has a fully-equipped kitchen, a benefit that was useful to us. The airconditioning is provided by a window-type unit that goes through the wall. Although slightly noisy, it didn't both us. It provided air that was sufficiently cooled. There is adequate off-street parking. To help with the environment, complete housekeeping is NOT provided daily. The hotel is well located on a barrier island, not far from the downtown. Also nearby (just steps away) is a very nice public beach, which has a lifeguard. There are numerous nice restaurants and shops nearby, as well as a park with tennis courts and other amenities. The owner and employees are very friendly and accomodating. I would definitely stay there again.

“Great get awat spot!!!”

This is a small older motel that has been up-dated, super clean and comforable and the owners are sooo nice, can't do enough for you. The beautiful beach is a short walk away, they even provide beach chairs, umbrellas, rafts etc. and great beach towels.

“Best Place Ever for the value”

This place was in a great location, close to the beach, lots of amenities and the owners would do nearly anything to meet your needs. Old Florida feel, very clean. Has a great upper deck for gatherings. Had a blender available! Had great advise for restaurants and directions to where you were headed. The price just can't be beat. The only suggestion I can think of would be to provide a water cooler to refill water bottles.

“Guest Happiness - Priority #1”

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like long-awaited family guests. From the personal "very cold back at home" weather report posted at reception upon arrival for back home, to the daily enquiries as to how we were we enjoying our stay, we couldn't have felt more welcome. What comes out of the whole "Sea Spray" experience is that the owners take exceptional pride in their hotel and their overiding goal is to make sure all guests are happy. Vero Beach is a lovely little city. Exceptional beaches and the friendlist locals.We had very mixed weather on our holiday - no matter how hard the wind blew or the rain came down, the team there shot out to sweep away all the leaves shed from any of the guests areas and patio and roof terrace chairs and tables where dried off within minutes of each shower ending.The whole place has a charming retro feel about it. Sure - it's small and rooms are bijou but that's exactly as this hotel should be. All the rooms were occupied and the guests were relaxed and chilled. Many of them were obviously repeat visitors and we heard on more than one occasion how the present owners had done a terrific job smartening up the place, putting in high standards whilst retaining that personal touch. Cleanliness and comfort were obviously high on the list of priorities -from the free loan of beach chairs, parasols and beach towels - to the little portable heaters in the rooms - in case it gets cold out of season.We will definitely be visiting again.

“Quiet and Cosy”

Clean room, friendly owners and staff. Great vicinity to the beach. Fully functional kitchen was a bonus. Only negative I could say is the chairs in the in the TV room were not comfortable for sitting and watching TV. Great value compared to other hotels in the same area!

“Great Place”

Enjoyed our stay and hope to return. The kitchen and gas grill allowed us to eat all our meals in the room sving money. Nice size rooms for the price.

“Loved it - wish we could have stayed longer!”

We took a gamble on this hotel as it didn't have any pictures online when we booked, but sounded good (but don't they all?) and was in the location we were after. By the time we'd left we definitely thought we had hit the jackpot! The owners were really helpful and friendly, they had free pushbikes to use for a coastal cycle (which we used and got soaked in the end of the 'rainy' season). The room has orginal 1950's bathroom tiles and heater which we loved - even the towel rail and toilet roll holder were in the same tile! Extra towels for the nearby beach were provided, which we made use of - despite the rain! The only very minor 'non-fantastic' point was that although there was a kitchen (which we used even though we were there just the one night) non of the drinking glasses were of the same same size, which made it a bit difficult to see how much wine each of us was drinking! If you want a quiet, friendly place to stay in Vero Beach you won't find better than the Sea Spray Inn - loved it, wish we could have stayed longer.

“Warm and Friendly”

Warm and friendly. Old time motel experience with cleanliness and family atmosphere. Little kitchenette well stocked with plates and necessities.....good value and only minutes from everything....a short walk to the ocean...........only issue was WIFI reception because of the age of my computer......newer computers would not be an issue.
