Room was nice, large, and clean.
Missing towels when I got there but they brought them right up.
Only thing is the traffic noise, next time I would try to stay at the end of the hotel farthest away from the main roadway.
The hotel is great, the hotel/room decor and architecture are great. Swarovski Crystals inspired but the the great thing about this resort is the spa. Lots of different steam rooms and saunas, a lot of spa amenities and treatments. The hotel and my stay were very relaxing, especially just hanging out at the pool. Walk around in your Sunday best or walk around in your robe.
Unfortunately we only had breakfast at the hotel so I couldn't really comment on the food. The free breakfast which they offered was good. There isn't much to do around the immediate area, unless you like to golf or hike, but you can just jump in the car and do a wine tasting ( unless your the DD ) or head into vernon to grab a bite to eat, take a stroll around vernon as the town is very walkable on a nice day or hit the lake for the day.

The Forest cabin is nice. Our A/C was not working after the first night but was quickly fixed. The BBQ was left with a mount of debris that looked like it was never cleaned in years and the igniter was broken. so they brought over another BBQ the had a working igniter but the grill was all rusted. Ended up using the first BBQ and lighting it with a lighter. Only a few things of concern or could be better were; 1) the carpet could be cleaner, there were dead bugs and what appeared to be some sort of liquid stain, could be pet stain, 2) shower handle was loose and fell in the main bathroom and the door doesn't close properly, 3) more supplies paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, liquid dish soap and laundry detergent would be nice 4), the knives were dull, good thing we brought one of our own 5) there was a strange smell from pillow cases and sheets so we washed them before we slept.
the upstairs bathroom has not shower, but the main floor bathroom only has a shower. The detached bedroom had both but lots of dead bugs on the floor, under the bed, behind the headboard.
we didn't let the above short comings ruin our stay. overall its a nice place for families with children and for ppl who just want to get away and relax.

Very comfortable beds, great restaurant menu and selection of BC wines. Advertised as "free continental breakfats" but only offer choice of toast or muffin, coffee/tea or juice, but will give you $5.00 off anything on their pricy breakfast menu.
I had my daughter and 2 grandchildren with me, 11 years and 17 months and the waterslide was superb!!!! while the older child slid I enjoyed the hot tub. The staff was wonderfully accommodating to us, they even told us about meal discounts at surrounding restaurants. Although right off the highway (easy to find) it was situated so that it was peaceful for sleeping. Breakfast had enough choice for everyone's enjoyment.
