Old hotel, poor water pressure and barely warm water. Big spacious rooms but coffee maker and cheap coffee but no cream or sugar. Some staff more pleasant than others. Breakfast is decent but small. Missed the mark on towels. 1 bottle of water in room for 2 people...weird not typical HI stuff like that. Very central. Free parking.

The hotel is 400 years old and you should expect some situations. It is nice place for a overnight stay. The only complaint I have is the water pipes must be original because the water comes out rusty brown so make sure to have bottle water to brush teeth.

Hotel is lovely and very clean. We had the king room and had a lot of space. Breakfast is included and is very delicious. The waiters are so nice and all speak English. Getting a ride was easy. The front desk will all one for you. Highly recommend staying here. We visited June 2023

Rooms are small and we are 4 people in the room with 2 towels, room clean but old furniture the night stands old and can't turn on, 1 of the rooms have filtrations and because we visit over the rain season was uncomfortable to have a wet bed😡definitely i will not back to this hotels, Holiday Inn are not anymore the hotels they are!

I was very happy with the cleanliness and the appearance of the hotel. The room was spacious. It includes a nice desk and chair to do work. Great location, walking distance to the Malecon. The restaurant linked to the hotel is a great place to get breakfast. There is no mini fridge. The beds were not comfortable. The parking lot is tight, not enough parking stalls for all the guests.

It’s a beautiful hotel with a grand staircase and beautiful tile everywhere. Parking was super secure and the location very close to the Zocalo was the best possible. Wonderful place to stay. The rooms are really cool with tremendously high ceilings and open beams. The hotel itself is huge with portals everywhere. It has a great feel to it.

Nice hotel in Centro
Lovely Ex Convento upgraded to Holiday Inn Standards. Great service, nice breakfast in the cafe (not included but reasonable). Walk to Zocolo. We went for Carnival and it was a great location for the events

Greetings Travelers! This is a good central location. Walking distance to local music and Zocalo. Breakfast good. Only problem in restaurant was when I got there at 6 am had to wait til opened, then once inside, they turned on the TV loud for a wrestling match!!!! I don't think they understand that we don't want to see this trash ruining a beautiful dawn.

Oddly enough....
We have stayed here twice. A Holliday Inn doesn't conjure up a great review, but this place is Clean, Quiet, and Comfortable. The walls are so thick, you can't hear traffic. There is a modest swimming pool in the courtyard. Our favorite feature that is was three blocks from the zocalo and all the goings on so try the surrounding restaurants, too.

a hotel with the restaurant 3 bloks away its not possible the furniture is so old the bathroom is dirty I have been in others hotels in this city so clenear and obiulsy with a restaurant in side and chepears how can be Holiday in hotel with this quality ??

Location
The hotel is a converted convent. Old style architecture that gives it a throw back feel. The central courtyard has a small pool so guests can cool off. The best thing about the hotel is the location. Guests are walking distance from the town square abd downtown activities. For the price it is a good value.

This is a beautifully-preserved historic building. That said, you have to realize that the building was constructed for another time and purpose and the rooms aren't very large. However, they are comfortable and the charm and location make up for the cozier rooms. The pool in the courtyard is a great place to cool off. The staff could not have been friendlier or more responsive. The only thing that could be improved is the water pressure and temperature in the shower. It was either very cold or too hot, and the water came out in a trickle. The hotel is right around the corner from the city's historic attractions, (zocalo, cathedral, malecon, Cafe de la Parroquia, etc.) We felt safe walking to nearby restaurants and bars at night. I will definitely stay again the next time I am in Veracruz.
