“Can't wait to go back”
This was a nice hotel. We stayed at the extension to the hotel around the corner from the main hotel. The room quite small but very nice and clean. The location of this hotel is optimal; near everything and a short walk to St. Mark's Square. The waiter's in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel (where the complimentary breakfast is served) were not very customer friendly; bordering on rude. I was a bit taken aback by the service but the staff in the hotel itself were very nice. I will stay at this hotel again but aside from the breakfast, will not eat in the restaurant again. Grazie.
“Nice Hotel, but small rooms”
The location was great, convenient to St Mark's Square and not a long walk, with our luggage, from where the water taxi from the airport dropped us off. The rooms are small, especially with all the luggage we had for a two week cruise, but clean. We had a window but our view was of a brick wall. We were only in the room to sleep so it wasn't a problem.
“Impressed and worth consider when visit Venice”
The hotel located in a very good location, few steps away from San Marco Square and Sanzaccaria water bus stop. Plenty of good resturant nearby. Rooms is clean and in good condition. The staff is also nice and helpful.
“Nice little hotel”
Rather pricey but Venice is not cheap.
“Great location!”
It has a great location!!! Once you get off the vaporetto a S. Zacaria, you will see the Savoia & Jolanda right in front a little to the right... with a green canopy on the front... walk towards there and go down the ally right next to the entrance of the S&J. You'll see Villa Igea down the ally to your left. The room was spacious (for European standards). Breakfast was nice and plenty.
“Igea is in a good spot but cramped and cold”
j a lovely quiet square with a beautiful church and it is quiet.
“Convienient Little Find”
The Hotel Igea was a cute, convienient little find in the San Zaccaria - only a minutes walk from Grand Canal & St Marks. Great coffee shop next door. The room was a little small, the beds a bit hard & in need of some good pillows otherwise it was a relief to burrow away at the end of a hard hot day. The aircond was very welcoming and the staff wonderful. I would definitely go back. Dont bother with a daily vaporetto pass as everything is in walking distance except for the airport trips & other islands. Geta one off vaporetto ticket if required.
“So convenient to transportation”
CLOSE TO NICE RESTAURANTS, VAPORETTO STOP AND SAFE AREA FOR EVENING STROLLS. nice room and complete breakfast. Good vallue.
“A very nice small hotel.”
Really enjoyed the staff, hotel, rooms, decor and location. It's a small hotel with nice rooms, a friendly staff, and nice breakfast in the morning.
“Convenient ,little getaway”

San Marco, Venice, Italy: San Marco (St Marks) is quintessential visitors Venice. The Piazza San Marco, famous for its pigeons, campanile, basilica, Palazzo Ducale (Doges Palace) and expensive cafes, is unmissable. The waterfront views are legendary and more gondolas depart from here than anywhere else in the city. In season the Piazza teems with day trippers though just a block or two away streets are quiet and offer more museums and palaces to explore.
