“Wonderful!”

We had a room overlooking the grand canal that was large and comfortable. Very expensive drinks at the bar but you are paying for the location which I'd say is one of the best in Venice. Its not a budget option though!

“One of the Best Hotel Experiences”

Our visit to The Westin Europa Regina was one of the best hotel experiences that I have ever had while traveling either domestic or internationally. The location of the hotel was near perfect, situated near St. Marks Square, the local water taxi service and within walking distance of many other sites within Venice. The staff was helpful and upon presentation of my Starwood Gold Card they made an extra effort to upgrade our room to one with a partial canal view and complementary champagne on two nights during our stay. The room itself was larger than I would have expected, nicely furnished and as mentioned above a partial view of the canal facing east so that in the morning I was able to watch the sky lighten as night turned into day. I would highly recommend staying at the Europa Regina while in Venice, in particular if you are a Starwoods member.

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but we loved our stay here. Wonderful staff. Very nice room and quiet. Very accomodating. Overall great value and couldn't be a better location

“Lovely hotel in the heart of Venice”

This is a beautiful hotel right in the center of Venice - a short walk from St. Mark's Place. The service was excellent, rooms were comfortable. As one would expect from a Westin, prices in the bar/lounge were exhorbitant (we did not check out the restaurant on-site). Our only complaint was a room that was over the restaurant, so a little noisy in the morning.

a lovely hotel, with good service and accommodation. Helpful staff and good food. Within walking distance of most of the sights. Wonderful public rooms with terraces fronting the Grand Canal. The hotel helped to make the visit a wonderful experience.

“Very Good Quality”

We stayed during the Venice Carnival in Feb 2009 and the hotel was in a very good location . Just steps away from all the local attractions and shops . Dinner and breakfast was very expensive . Better to get a B&B deal.
