“Great location - Venice is magical”

The location was perfect, we were right off San Marcos square and everything was nearby. The staff was somewhat limited in their willingness or ability to assist and their English was spotty, but always good enough to get by. (For instance, our room cost included breakfast, and they neglected to tell us that the first morning, so we walked all over looking for a place to eat breakfast.) The room was wonderful. We had four people in a suite with a foldout couch, and it worked wonderfully, also cheaper than two rooms.

“Great location”

The outstanding characteristic of this hotel is its location: so close to San Marco (about 150m), yet the street is so quiet (the crouds do not take the turn on the hotel street because it ends in a small channel)!. This hotel offers suites (two beds in one room, a double bed in the other, a bathroom and a small kitchen in the alley) which is not easy to find in Venice. This was ideal for our family of four. The room was in excellent condition, with new furniture in clasical style. I am giving the room's comfort a score of 4 instead of 5, because the bed could have been more comfortable. Breakfast was OK and there is free wifi in certain areas of the hotel. I would choose it again if I return to Venice.

“More than expected!”

This was more than we expected. The price suggested a nice, roomy, yet moderately priced hotel. This place was luxurious! It was so nice, we were sad to leave. The hotel is hard to find, but I think all hotels in Venice are hard to find. Venice is a virtual maze of streets and canals. I'd do a search and get directions from St. Mark's square to the hotel before heading there. But, this is a definite must for anyone visiting Venice. Close to St. Mark's square and a short walk to the Realto bridge. Wonderful amenities, friendly staff, and free breakfast. Primo!

“We'd definitely stay here again”

While it was a little hard to find at first, this hotel truly is in a perfect location -- just around the corner from the Piazza San Marcos. The suites are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are much larger than in the standard European hotel. And they serve an excellent breakfast.

“St. Mark's Square!”

Lovely hotel a block away from the clock tower in St. Mark's square. We had the 6 person suite, 1queen bed, 2 twins & a pullout sleeper sofa accommodated all our needs comfortably. Spacious bathroom, a small kitchenettes & large balcony made our stay in venice very convenient. Staff were very nice, allowed us early check in and held our bags prior to cruise ship check in. Transfer from airport by boat required us to walk through square with our luggage but water taxis were readily available .

“Great experience”

What a terrific deal! We received a beautiful suite of rooms with a view of a canal. Service was great and as part of the price, we received a free private boat ride to and from the Island of Morano. The breakfast was elegant and plentiful. We were minutes from the center of the city.

“convenient , clean ,Venice Hotel”

Very comfortable, clean, small hotel with excellent staff. The location was very good, yards away from St Marco. Our suite was large, comfortable and had two bathrooms. Since it was mid summer we knew to expect an occasional smelly canal. There is one next to the hotel but the interior of the hotel was not affected. There was some pressure to enlist us for a trip to Murano but we deffered and were left alone. Overall I would rate this hotel as excellent , specially considering the price and it's close proximity to the cathedral.

“Good hotel in perfect location”

We were travelling with two young children (aged almost 1 and almost 3) and the hotel was very well suited for our needs. The suites had a seperate lounge / sleeping area and the hotel provided two beautifully made up cots. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good, though they only had 1 high chair. We found the rooms quiet even though we were so perfectly located close to St Mark's Square and the bell tower! There was a lift in the hotel but our room was on the mezzanine floor so we still had some stairs to climb with a pram. Venice is not a very child friendly city, very few restaurants had high chairs and we couldn't find a single baby changing facility anywhere. In the 3 times we've been to Venice we've only found one children's play park and it was very small and poor. There are also of course millions of bridges to negotiate with a pram. Nevertheless, the children (and therefore the adults), had a great time, weather was great, food was lovely (albeit expensive), and we enjoyed the beautiful city. Our visit was made all the better by the lovely hotel and its perfect location and we would stay there again for sure.
