Property Amenities
Over the centuries the Luna Hotel Baglioni has been renovated many times, most recently in 2005-06. In the 18th century, for instance, students of Gianbattista Tiepolo embellished the building with frescoes, some of which survive in the opulent reception-and-breakfast salon called the Marco Polo Room.
Guest services include wireless Internet access (surcharge), a 24-hour business center and concierges who assist in making restaurant reservations and booking tours.

Luna Hotel Baglioni, Venice, offers 104 air-conditioned guestrooms and suites spread over five floors. Decor features 18th-century-style Venetian and French decor of silk-damask walls, heavy drapes, Murano glass chandeliers, and highly polished dark wood furniture and trim.
Amenities include safes and minibars. Plasma TVs include satellite service. Wireless Internet access is available (surcharge). A turndown service is also provided.
Marble bathrooms come with slippers, bathrobes, heated towel rails, hair dryers, and complimentary toiletries.

Marco Polo Room - Breakfast salon featuring Murano-glass chandeliers, gilded mirrors, fresh flowers, and 18th-century ceiling frescoes from Giambattista Tiepolo's school. American buffet breakfast (surcharge) served daily.
Caffè Baglioni - Canal-view bar-lounge with molded ceiling, orange silk-damask walls, floral brocade chairs, and marble floor, providing views of side canal and the Royal Garden of St Mark's. Open mid-morning to late night for appetisers, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and cocktails.
Recreation
The Lido, a slender, 11-kilometre-long island facing the Adriatic Sea, lies a 15-minute water-bus ride east of historical Venice's centre. In summer it becomes the city's playground, when beaches and water sports draw visitors and Venetians alike. Year-round, visitors rent bicycles to explore the island, take horseback rides, and play golf, tennis, and volleyball. Deep-sea fishing is available in the Adriatic Sea.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

“tres bien .Mais manque de modernité”
tres bien pour le service ,le concierge et lemplacement.Mais hotel tres classique.
“magnifique hôtel”
Surement l'un des plus beau hôtel de Venise et idéalement placé juste derrière les procuraties a 3 min a pied de l'arrêt du vaporetto vasconcellos.
“Very impressive”
The Luna Hotel Baglioni is listed as one of the 500 leading hotels in the world, of which I've stayed in two others, and this one doesn't disappoint, particularly in terms of its location (right off the #1 vaparretto from the train station) and it's opulence. The only objection I had was that unlike just about every other hotel in Venice, it did not include breakfast with the room. That would have made it perfect.
“PROBABLY THE BEST HOTEL IN VENICE!!!”
From the minute we got there to when we left we had an amazing time - the hotel is right on St Marks Square and in the hub of everything Venice. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We went to Venice to relax and we were certainly in the right place for that. Although the drinks are expensive at the hotel they are anywhere in St Marks Square so no difference there. We went in November and the whole area floods upto about 20cm so if you can pack a pair of wellies it is a good idea or they do sell them in every other shop. The restaurants arounf St Marks vary in price - check the menu before sitting down You absolutely must visit da Peiero Mauro caffetteria open every day from 6.30 am to 2.00 am - its just up a few side streets and is a tiny little place with the friendliest bar staff in Venice (unfortunately I did find the venetians customer service skills a little lacking!!) But all in all a fantastic time and can't recommend the hotel more highly
“Luxe, calme et volupté”
Un hôtel qui offre des prestations dignes de sa catégorie à deux pas de la place San Marco. Service impeccable et attentionné. A recommander sans hésitation.
“Wonderful Location with Friendly Staff”
We were delighted with this hotel. We were warmly welcomed and very impressed by the friendly and very helpful staff. On check in we were upgraded to a deluxe room with slant views of the Grand Canal from the balcony. The room was on the small side but had beautiful furnishings and had just been refurbished. The king size bed was very comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, after all it's only 50 yards from Harry's Bar and 100 yards from the Piazza San Marco.
“old world charm”
great location, and friendly hotel staff made for a pleasant weekend getaway
“A must stay in Venice”

Area:
San Marco, Venice, Italy: San Marco (St Marks) is quintessential visitors Venice. The Piazza San Marco, famous for its pigeons, campanile, basilica, Palazzo Ducale (Doges Palace) and expensive cafes, is unmissable. The waterfront views are legendary and more gondolas depart from here than anywhere else in the city. In season the Piazza teems with day trippers though just a block or two away streets are quiet and offer more museums and palaces to explore.
