“LOVELY HOTEL IN A GOOD LOCATION”

This hotel is only a 10 minutes walk from the train station, it wasnt too hard to find.The hotel itself was immaculate, we were told we had the best room which was number 4. It was a large room, with a good sized shower room, with wc & air con. We had breakfast both mornings that we were there,it was nice, they have a nice little courtyard to eat in. Staying at this end of Venice gives you to opportunity to wonder through tiny laneways & squares on your way to the main sights. It only took half an hour to get to Rialto Bridge & from there all of the other attractions are near.We stayed at the beginning of june & it was a bank holiday, the price was still reasonable.

We really enjoyed the outside terrace. I would plan on staying there again if I ever went back to Venice.

“Fantastic value in a great location”

Very well located, clean rooms, and very helpful staff. Extremely good value for money. No extra facilities like a kettle in the room, or an indoor lounge - so for bad weather stays in winter you have to find shelter and resting places elsewhere, but this is Venice so it's not too hard! I would certainly come back again to this hotel.

“Very convenient and friendly”

The hotel staff were all friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The situation was great, being in a quiet square just off the main route from the station to The Rialto Bridge. The room was small but had everything we needed and we able to eat our own lunch on a balcony overlooking an inner courtyard, saving us pounds. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Overall, a good experience and we will go back to the Locanda Herion.

Superb family hotel easily found just off a pedestrian route about 10 mins walk from the bus station. A few restaurants, shops and a small market nearby but pleasantly uncrowded. Vaporetto stop on Grand Canal a few mins away. Nice outdoor courtyard (if wanted) for a good breakfast. Owners/staff couldn't be nicer. A real gem.

Hotel situé dans un quartier calme de venise à quelques minutes de marche des principaux sites touristiques de Venise. Vraiment aucuns regrets sur l'hotel et sur les prestations. Quel plaisir de dormir dans le centre de Venise... Bon voyage!!!

“very impressed”

Our 6th visit to Venice but first stay at Locanda Herion and we were very impressed. Comfortable walking distance from the station and also vaparetto stop S. Marcuola on Grand Canal very convenient. Our room (no. 5) was quite dark but nicely furnished,warm and very comfortable-- a huge bed, an extra chair would have been welcome. All the staff that we met were really friendly and helpful especially Anna (she helped us book tickets for an opera performance at Scuola S. Giovanni Evangelista ) Breakfast area is small but perfectly adequate and the breakfast itself was fine. It would be nice to be in Venice when the outside terrace and balcony could be used but we were warm and comfortable and look forward to a return visit.

Hôtel très bien situé près des embarcadères de l'ACTV et Alilaguna (pratique pour venir et repartir à l'aéroport). Très au calme. Petit déjeuner très correct. Personnel très sympathique et serviable. Bref, vraiment un très bon hôtel bien situé.
