Property Amenities
Two spacious areas preserved from the palazzo's earlier days occupy two floors. On the second floor, a grand hall provides a traditional Venetian ambience, created by a combination of the original 15th-century beamed ceiling, a 19th-century terrazzo floor, 18th-century Murano glass chandeliers, gilded chairs with scarlet-plush upholstery, Oriental rugs, richly colored drapes, and tall leaded-glass windows overlooking San Lorenzo/Dei Greci Canal.
On the fourth floor, a series of spacious salons contain blond-oak floors, Oriental rugs, feathery potted plants, gilt tables and chairs with plush-fabric seating, large copies of details from famous Venetian paintings, and more tall windows overlooking the canal. Complimentary wireless (high-speed) Internet access is available.
The Liassidi Palace has its own landing for water taxis and gondolas. The hotel staff speaks English.
Room Amenities
Rooms
The Liassidi Palace, Venice, offers 26 guestrooms in a restored four-story palazzo built in 1452. Decor blends classic Venetian touches such as carved gilt headboards, dark-walnut trim, and Oriental rugs with contemporary pieces such as glass-topped desks and chrome lamps. Overall, tan-and-cream or taupe-and-cream color schemes, metallic-silver-framed mirrors, and large Art Deco paintings create a light, airy ambience. Floors are either of blond oak or terrazzo from the palazzo's 19th-century remodeling. Complimentary wireless (high-speed) Internet access is available.
Contemporary mosaic-tile bathrooms contain heated towel racks, bidets, scales, and either jetted-tub/shower combinations or stall showers without tubs but with massage showerheads.
Complimentary wireless internet access is available in all guest rooms.

Recreation
The Lido of Venice, the slender, 11.5-km-long (7.25-mile-long) island facing the Adriatic Sea that lies a 15-minute waterbus ride east of central Venice, is the city's playground, especially in summer when beaches and watersports draw visitors and Venetians. Year-round, visitors rent bicycles to explore the island, play golf, or take horseback rides. Aside from fishing in the canals, the central city offers little in the way of recreational opportunities. Deep-sea fishing is available in the Adriatic Sea.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

“Easter in Venice”
Arriving at the Liassidi Palace by boat at their own landing stage was great, to find we had been given a room upgrad and given a bottle of Prosecco made the arrival even more special. the room was clean and comfortable and a small balcony overlooking the canal gave us a lovely view. The staff were friendly and helpful with some helpful hints on what to see and where to go. They even gave us an Easter Egg on Easter Sunday (nice touch). Well placed for all attractions and boat stations.
“Definitely one to revisit”
We booked three rooms in the Liassidi Palace for a short break with the family and all were excellent. Service was impeccable. We have stayed in Venice a number of times and will definitely be returning here - highly recommended!

“hidden gem in the heart”
had a great time in Venice, The hotel is 5 mins from St Marks square, so central Easy to get to, from the airport get the water bus (12 Euro) to venice. Hotel changed our linen and towels everyday, and made he room up for us when ever we went out. very clean and tidy. wonderful staff at the desk, always willing and helpful, giving directions and maps. Breakfas was great, lots and lots of very nice food and tea/cofee on a buffet. Overall , great service and great value.
“Fantastic Honeymoon”
We have just returned from our honeymoon over New Year and had a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly and courteous, the breakfast was good and the rooms very comfortable (we stayed in a standard room). The view was a bit rubbish (another building) but there was so much outside on the doorstep you didn't need a canal view. As is was our honeymoon the hotel and left a card, some complimentary snacks and a bottle of prosecco which was very nice.
“Totaly impressed”
Lovely place to visit, well worth exploring every bridge & alley way, cannals buildings are spectacular. As are all the shops cafes & resturaunts the people are very friendly & welcoming.
“Wonderful Place”
You can't go wrong in Venice, but this hotel and the staff were exceptional. The staff were all very friendly, spoke English, and went out of there way to offer suggestions. It is very close to San Marco Square and the Rialto Bridge. After watching the sunset over the canal, visit one of the restaurants located near the hotel.

Area:
Castello, Venice, Italy: Bordering San Marco and the Rialto and stretching east to some of Venices quietest greenest parts, Castello is the citys most varied sestiere. Its most famous aspect is the Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront next to the Bridge of Sighs, with picture-postcard views onto the lagoon. Yet a few yards from the tourist hoards, the backstreets are quiet and typically Venetian. There are many outstanding churches and art collections in this area.
