“Great location to bus stop and local italian restuarant”

The hotel is is about 10-15 min walk from the main train station and 3 mins walk from the Number 6 or 66 bus stop that takes you to Venice. The hotel staff are great and polite. Very nice people. They recommended a local italian restuarant just down the street and it was perfect. Even local italians were linning up to be seated!!! IFree internet and breakfast was awesome, as they made any hot breverage you liked. In short, i would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

“Small but quiet and convenient”

As typical, lodging in Europe tends to be small and this hotel is no exception. Don't expect large and fancy, including the shower and bathroom. However, the location is great. The town is quaint and quiet with a few local restaurants that are authentic. We felt very safe walking around at night. It is about half-way from airport and downtown Venice (about $30-$40 by taxi). Be sure to have Euros for taxi. Our taxi did not take US dollars or a credit card. The hotel was kind enough to pay for us and put thecharge on the hotel credit card until we could locate an ATM machine close by to obtain Euros. Nice little breakfast with outside seating - the weather was great! Can sleep with the windows open but there are mosquitoes so beware!

“location”

the hotel is good, there is place to park the car, and you have to pay a normal rate. they have internet available but very expensive! the hotel is a block from the bus stop to go to Venice which is excellent. Breakfast is good and the neighborhood is quiet. Room is fine, a little old furniture but clean

“clean & convenient”

Excellent & friendly service at a clean & convenient hotel with easy access to Venice by bus or train. Mestres train station less than 10 minutes away on foot. Venice about 10 minutes away by bus. Airport express bus serves Mestres train station. Hotel is small. Staff is welcoming, helpful, and fluent in English. Breakfast adequate, coffee very good. Building is well-kept. Neighborhood is plain, semi-residential urban, and seemingly safe. Can't compare to Venice, but nothing compares to Venice. Perfect as a comfortable, inexpensive, clean place to stay while exploring Venice. Good value. Would definitely return.

“Nice”

Nice and clean little hotel, 10 minutes ride in bus from venice. Very convenient, the bus stops in the corner and goes directly to venice every 15-20 minutes. Will definitly come back!

“THEY HAVE THE BEST SERVICE MORE THAN A 5 STAR HOTEL CAN GIVE”

* Very polite, friendly, courteous and informative staff which is rare in European Hotels. * Staff in the breakfast buffet gave us personalized service by heating another set of breads, remembering our preferred coffees and feeding us enough...Just by telling this story makes me want to go back there and have another big breakfast *My parents enjoyed the neighborhood which is quiet, fresh air, near the bus stop and supermarket *Overall everthing is GREAT!!!! A decent place to stay !!!!

“feel in Toscana”

Real nice and courteous couple runs the place. We had dinner and food was awesome. Real tuscany kitchen and the breakfast was a taste of all the best in Tuscany. Trust me if you stay in the hotel must have dinner there, although the owners call it "piatto espresso" it´s gourmet food ! Clean and spacious room bigger for Italy standards.

“Adele is an A+”

The staff was very helpful, from suggesting restaurants to showing us how to get around the city. The rooms were clean and quiet and comfortable. It was just off the beaten track in a nice neighborhood close to all amenities. The breakfast was filling and tasty and always served with a smile. There is a little walled in courtyard where we spent several enjoyable evenings with other guests among the flowers. It was a short 10-15minute bus ride (stop almost at front door) to Venice.

“Good location, good price”

This is a very nice hotel for travelers traveling on a budget. Beautiful location. Access to Venice is 5-10 minutes with bus (#6 if I am not mistaken). There is a bus stop right around the corner. It is also very close to the train station, 10 minute walk. We had a chance to go to Verona by train, a daily trip. The train ride lasts around 1 hour 15 min one way, definitely suggesting to see Verona, beautiful, small, fun city. There is also a bus from airport to Mestre (#15 if I am not mistaken). Take this bus to the hotel when you arrive (45 minute ride). We had a very early morning flight on the way back, and took the bus shuttle from the train station at 5:20am in the morning (25 min ride). To sum up, the transportation is very convenient and cheap. There are a couple of fluent English speaking ladies at the hotel. They are very helpful and sincere. You can find them during the day. The receptionists at night are only good for practicing Italian and gesture language. The hotel is clean. The neighborhood is safe and silent. The included breakfast at the patio is awesome. Stay there, you won't regret.

Area recommendations

I recommend a daily trip to Verona if time permits.
