“Convenient and Clean”
Hotel staff very helpful, close to Train and Bus stops. We arrived early and checked in our luggage, room was still not available when we returned from our trip to Padua and the Hotel staff immediately located a clean room for us.
“Love to go back, but not the Gondola ride.”
Reception was very friendly and hotel was clean,Hotel is situated opposite the railway station and a bus ride from central Venice, very convinent, i would recommend it to everyone and if i visit Venice again would stay at this hotel. It is only few Euro bus ride approx. 20 minutes from the Airport so no expensive taxi fares.and we then had the 3 day pass for use on all buses and river buses, worked out quite well.Place to visit is obviously Harry bar and then the restaurant about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, inexpensive and good food.Gondola ride expensive but instead go on the local taxi,Murano glass a must visit as were some of the churches and the Bell tower.
“Great choice”
If you choose not to stay in Venice proper, this is an excellent choice. Room and breakfast were excellent; staff was very helpful. At night when we headed back from Venice, I wished we were on the island, but hotel was a nice place to go home to. Very convenient to the railroad.
“Good value clean pleasant hotel.”
This was our second stay at Tritone so we knew what to expect. Our room was plenty big enough. Bed was large as two singles together and extremely comfortable. Bathroom a decent size and everything was clean and in good order.Breakfast is aways good at the Tritone and you can fill up for the day with scrambled eggs and bacon and all the usual cold buffet foods. Staff were very polite and helpful. A very relaxed hotel stay an definately much better staying in Mestre than in Venice. Its about a third of the cost for one thing. I would rather save my money and treat nyself to a wonderful piece of Murano glass. Hotel is directly opposite the train station, one Euro into Venice. Also the bus stop is next to the station. Recommend getting a pass for the bus and water bus. All i all a very pleasant and relaxing stay at the Tritone and very good value.
“Idéalement situé pour visiter Venise”
Hôtel de grande qualité: très calme, très confortable. Très bon rapport qualité/prix
“Wonderful Discovery”
My husband and I stayed here May 24, 2009 four 3 days. The hotel was found on Expedia, and the reviews were very positive. The staff was so helpful and always pleasant, the free breakfast was amazing, and we even had free high speed internet!. I would not come back to Venice without staying here again. We were right across from the train station and bus stops. If you stay here, you won't regret it!
“clean, comfortable, good breakfast”
Mestre "ain't pretty", but it was much cheaper to stay here than in the heart of Venice. We were right across from the train station and bus stop, so it was pretty easy to get around. The Golden Tulip Tritone was clean, comfortable (although the rooms are small), and breakfast was very good. There is internet service in the lobby for 2 Euros/half hour. If the man at the front desk tells you his name is "Cashier", don't believe him. :)
“clean, well-maintained hotel adjacent to Mestre Train station”
This hotel was across the street from the Mestre Train station. This provided good train access to Venice in about 15 minutes. The hotel staff were courteous, professional and always available. The breakfast was hearty. Our room was very small, but clean. This was OK with me as we were only sleeping there. I would stay there again. The cost is about half of the equivalent hotel in Venice. We were in Venice to begin a cruise. We were able to take the train from Hotel Tritone to the main Venice bus terminal. Then we boarded the new people mover funicular that took us directly to the Cruise Port. This worked very well and was quite economical.
“very very nice and good hotel”
this hotel was great near train stations buses breakfast very good....exceptionnal price thanks expedia
“Convenience ++”
Having stayed a few times already in the area, I knew how close the hotel was to the train station for trips to both Venice and mainland destinations. Front reception staff were extremely helpful on several occasions, e.g., confirming reservations with day tours. The staff in the breakfast room were very attentive (and the food selection excellent!). The room could get a little cramped with two people and all their belongings, but it's just a resting place, no issue.
