Dear Josephine, thank you for sharing your experience. Regarding the old carpet, we guess you are referring to the annex. So we want to inform that from january 2023 the annex is going to be completely restored so you will not find carpet anymore. as far as the smell is concerned we don't know if you are referring to the toilette. We always remind the guests that we are 24 h at disposal for any kind of problem.Best Regards

Dear Claire, we are very sorry about your complaint but we are disappointed that you have never been to the reception as it is very important for us the cleaning service as you can see from other reviews. Anyway you had the room that you have reserved and descriptions and photos of any room type are well specified. As far as mosquitos are concerned, this is a problem of the summer season when air conditioning is on and so you don't need to open the window. As you can guess, it it very unusual in the end of october, when air conditioning is off beacuse of italian law for energy saving but this year the wheater has been crazy and temperature was higher that usual . Dear Eder, we are very disappointed and surprised about your feedback. First of all you STAYED in our Hotel but maybe you didn't realise that because when you came back during the night you drank a little bit. The guardian had to reproach you many times as you were disturbing the other guests ! As far as the a/c is concerning, we want to underline that when you arrived the wheater was cold due to bad weather in Italy (unusual for the season) and for this reason we had to switch on the heating ...Moreover we want to REMInd YOU that you LEFT the Hotel WITHOUT PAYING the and city tax!!!!

Dear Hilary, we are sorry to know that you didn't appreciate your stay a part from the staff. We have several room types that have different prices, obviously canal view rooms are the most romantic but also expencive... We also have some renovated rooms and we could have changed your room if only we had know from you that you didn't like your room...We have also 6/5 different types of pillows, if you didn't like we could have changed them...And we want just to make you understand the the price you payed is quite cheap for a 3 stars hotel in the city center of one of the most important (but also unique) city of the world in high season time... Dear Sirs, we are sorry for your dissapointing but in April , during spring season, usually the temperature is about 20/22 degrees and so there is no need of air conditioning . Anyway, there is a law according to which is not allowed to switch on air conditioning or heating too early beacuse of energy saving and against pollution. Best regards Hotel Tintoretto's staff

Dear Sirs, we don't know where do you come from or what are you standard for room space but we can assure that mq 15/20 for standard room or mq 20/25 for superior room are good for italian standar and for Venice expecially, where hotels are part of very ancient and preciuos buildings! Anyway, on expedia you can check anytime also the measure of each room... Best regards

Dear Mr David, we are sorry that you didn't appreciate your stay here but we think that if you are used to have high quality service you have to check what you reserve ( in this case a french room smaller that the double and also bed large cm 135) and not buy the most economic solution... If you desire so high quality standard you can also reserve the superior Canal view room , as an example, but obviously the price would be more expensive...We are very disappointed that you didn't inform us about your insatisfaction , maybe we could help you to have a pleasant stay ... Dear Sirs, thank you for your feedback but we want just to underline that the Restaurant doesn't belong to the Hotel property and for that it has a different management.. Anyway we are very surprised about your statement that "you can't have a drink without food.." so we asked for information but the manager of the restaurant said that maybe it was just an exception due to the fact that many people were waiting for a seat in order to have dinner... Dear guest, we are very sorry that your stay was not pleasant and very disappointed about your negative comment because you booked a small economy room ( the most economic) but if you needed a bigger room you could have booked the standard double or the superior double that are a little bit more expensive... The check -out time is well written on the info in the web site but if you asked at the reception maybe we could help you.... anyway we don't find correct to write a negative comment without writing the name and we think that if there were seriuos and real problem and your stay was so horrible you could have speak with the management when you were here...
