The Hotel Principe - Gardena Hotels, Venice, has 139 air-conditioned rooms with views of the Grand Canal or the Lista di Spagna pedestrian thoroughfare. Rooms are individually decorated, with high ceilings and carpeting. Some include Art Deco touches and wood furniture painted silver. Others feature antique poster beds, along with 18th-century antique reproductions upholstered in pink velvet. All offer satellite TV, wireless Internet access (surcharge), phones, safes, and minibars. Tiled bathrooms include bidets and hair dryers. About one-third of the guestrooms have private balconies or terraces. Some rooms are directly accessible by elevator; the others are accessible by short flights of stairs.

The hotel serves a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning.
Principe Ristorante - Italian specialties are served in a handsome room with silk-upholstered chairs, yellow-marble floor, and Murano-glass chandeliers. A wall of windows faces the waterfront terrace, where guests can dine in summer. The Principe Ristorante serves breakfast and dinner.
Marco Polo Bar - Colored-glass tables add a bright note to this friendly bar open from late morning to late night.
Recreation
Numerous recreational diversions are available on the Lido, an island famed for its beach and as the site of the Venice International Film Festival. The Lido is a 10-minute boat ride from St. Mark's Square.

“Excellent 4 étoile, superbes chambres”
Hôtel très facile d'accès (proche de la gare et sur le grand canal). Superbes chambres dont certaines possèdent une terrasse donnant sur le grand canal.
“Nice hotel”
Quiet, clean, good service, good breakfast. Near train station and quieter parts of Venice. Fairly long walk to San Marco but exploring along the way is part of the experience. Would recommend the hotel.
“Would recommend to anyone”
Staff ast desk very friendly. Did suggest their private trip to Murano and I suggest everyone take this tour and onto Burano. Private boat and self guided is the way to go. Never again will I stay at a hotel that you can not arrive at by boat, this was a big treat. The Breakfast was the best we had in our entire trip. Ask for a canal room 231 is best but 232&233 can be a bit small, our 231 was much larger. We were within walking distance of the train station for our departure but arriving at the airport and taking a private taxi was the way to start the trip.

We stay in the hotel Principe in venice every year for my husbands birthday and our wedding anniversary, The hotel is wonderful rooms lovely the hotel all round is very clean and the food delicious! The staff are great and very freindly. Would reccommend this hotel to anyone!!
“An excellent hotel”
I always try to stay here when I go to Venice, which is quite often. It's very handy for the railway station and the service is very good. Nothing nicer than sipping a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the grand canal on a lovely warm evening!
“Good value in a good position”
Lovely hotel within walking distance of the train station and vaparetto to Rialto Bridge and St Marks Sq. The large bathroom had been refurbished as had the cloakroom in the lobby. The staff were helpful and the terrace on the Grand Canal was delightful. Good value for money.

although our stay was a short one we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, and the principe hotel was very pleasant, and came up to expectations. We also enjoyed very much being serenaded by the keyboard player, thank you
“My third time in Principe”
The staff is very courteous and helpfull. It is a beautiful hotel very conveniently located. The views from the Grand Canal are wonderful.It includes a full breakfast so is nice to go exploring in Venice after.

Très bien situé, près de la gare et des vaporeto. *0 minutes à pied de Saint Marco, 15 minuttes du Rialto. excellent buffet petit déjeuner avec un service très professionnel. Calme. Commerces symathiques et marché de primeur à proximité. très satisfait.
