“Convenient location, pleasant staff, very nice room”
This hotel is very well situated for local transport links to airport and into Venice. The staff on the desks were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was typical continental fare with just a little hot food available but there was plenty to eat, plenty of room in the restaurant, and everything was clean and tidy. I had an upgrade and the room was spacious, well furnished and equipped. The only small criticism was that it was too hot for me (middle of November) with the windows closed but then I am from much colder climes and am used to low temperatures. Sound proofing was of a high standard but opening the window to cool down was not really an option at night because the hotel is on a busy road. I will certainly use this hotel again on further visits to Venice and am very happy to recommend it to friends. It was good value and extremely convenient.

“Hôtel idéal pour un séjour à Venise”
Un hôtel parfait pour un séjour à Venise, idéalement situé juste en face de la gare (il n'y a que la rue à traverser et on saute dans un train... 5 mn plus tard on est à Venise). L'hôtel est d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix, la chambre très spacieuse, la literie haut de gamme, la salle de bain en marbre... bref grand luxe. Petit déjeuner continental très copieux. Vraiment c'était parfait.
“Very convenient”
Hotel is very convenient , without the hassle and hustle of being right in Venice. A 3 euro bus puts you across the street from the hotel. Staff was very attentive. 1 euro 10 minute train ride across the street puts you in venice. Trains run every 10-15 minutes. Excellent breakfast. @ very good Restaurants on site, so don't have to wander around after a day of sightseeing. Would definately stay again, and recommend this hotel.
“Close to Venice”
Perfect location - jump on the train (runs into Venice every 10 mins - 1 Euro) - great value and wonderful clean environment. Room large - bath light and airy tile. Helpful staff arranged tour of the city.
“Good base for exploring Venice”
We had a very nice double room with excellent air con (which you need in August!!) at a fraction of the price of anything comparable in the Island. 1 Euro trip to Venice from railway stn across the road. Breakfast was quite good. Only gripe as one other review mentioned was that Hotel reception didn't tell you about boat/bus day cards when asked.
“Great Place to stay when visiting Venice”
A welcome relief after a long day of train travel. Right across from train station. Newly remodelled since our last stay there in '08. Nice room, outstanding bathroom. In-house restaurant was great. Good food and value, a bit awkward service when busy. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Easy in / out to Venice for sightseeing, easy cab run to airport. Good value for money. Will stay there again for sure.
“Great Place To Stay”
Really appreciated the train station being just steps away when we saw others dragging luggage through the streets & on the overcrowded boats. As stated in other reviews, train costs just 1 Euro each way & literally takes just minutes. Bus stop for direct trip to airport is also just minutes away. Room was average, staff helpful. I usually shy away from hotels around train/bus stations but I felt safe returning to my room at the Plaza.
“Couldn't be better”
Perfect location, easy 10 minute access to Venice, across the street train station. Very good included breakfast buffet, free wifi. Busy hotel, lots of tourist groups. Modern and elegant room decoration, excellent bathroom. Definetily a hit, above our expectations. Ask, if possible, for a room on the 8th floor.
