Dear Mrs Leah First of all we would like to thank you for have chosen our hotel for your recent stay in Venice and for taking some of your time to share your opinion about your experience here with us, even if we are very surprised to receive such a bad score from you! We are sorry you didn't like the location of our hotel, usually all our guests love it beacuse we are about 20-25 mintes walking from the main turistic attractions like Piazza San Marco or Rilato Bridge (or 10 minutes by public boat), but at the same time there is a lot to see in our area as well and it is very convenient for restaurants and bars! We are glad you liked the room we assigned you (just to point it out you had a free upgrade from the standard room that you booked to a deluxe room overlooking the canal), but we are sorry to read that you have not been satisfied with the bathroom: in fact room and bathroom have been both renovated less than one year ago and we just checked it but couln't find the bad contionions you are mentioning! Also we very sadly read your opinion about our staff: we do our best to be always polite, welcoming and to let our guests have the best experience here in our hotel being always at their disposal to provide all the informations or suggestions about our beautiful city and we usually have this recognized by many positive reviews about our staff! Anyway we are aware that it is not possible to please everyone, therefore we take note of your criticisms to improve ourselves and our services and we thank you again for the time dedicated to us! Normally our customers appreciate the quiet location in which we are, central but out of the confusion of the crowd, our structure in general because it is an authentic 14th century palace wisely maintained in the original aspects of the house, and as regards services , its quality is recognized. Dear Valued Guest We would like to thank you for choosing our hotel to spend your venetian time and for taking some of your time to review your experience with us: we are really sorry to read that there wasn't enough water pressure in the shower, that's really strange as we have recently made a big investment to remedy the problem and actually since then it is the first time a guest complains about it, so we must investigate what went wrong with your room: it would be very nice if could tell us which room was assigned to youin order to help us! Also we are shocked to read that the toilet on arrival was dirty: that's definately unacceptable and once again we must ionvestigate with the room number what went wrong becuase we put the hygiene and cleaning on top of our priorities so definately we cannot accept it! Finally we are surprised you didn't got a map from our staff as we use to give it to all our guests upon their arrival, that's why I'm here to ask again further explanation in order to understand what hapened! We are sorry to know that you found your room and bathroom small: the size of all our rooms matchs the standards required by the italian law and also depends on the room typologie you have booked, if you had advised us that you were inconfortable in the assigned room due to the size we could have maybe offered you a differ room or an upgrade. Also we are sorry that the room safety box was not working, even if we are gald to know that we partially solved the problem by letting you use one of the reception safety boxes while reparing the one in your room; and that you found a little bit of dust in the corners but general cleanliness was good, in fact the cleaness is an aspect that we take care of almost maniacally here in our hotel so we will immediately advise our cleaning staff to pay more attention in order to avoid this unpleasent complain againd and to keep a perfect cleaning in the whole hotel! Despite to theese negative points we are really glad to know that you found our staff friendly and helpfull and you liked our convenient location, so we definately hope to welcome you again in the future to have the chance to show you that we improved those negative aspects you mentioned and that we deserve an even higher score! Dear Guest It is strange that you were so in a hurry here when we asked you the payment of the surcharge for the extra guest that slept with you (when the room booked was a single one) and we only could get the due payment when waiting for the police to to intervene, while you found the time few minutes later to write this disagreeable review! Just as information for our potential guests reading this very unpleasent message: we have not been rude at all, we only asked the payment of the services that have been used here; of course we keep checking who is going to our rooms (as required by Italian law) and of course we check how many drinks or food you consume when you pay for one person but there are two of you consuming them! We use to consider very seriously the reviews of our guests, both positive and negative, because they are precious hints for us for checking our strengths or weaknesses and improving our services, but this time we really know that we did everything very well and we are sure that we would definately do the same again, even if we hope we will not have to find ourselves again in such an unpleasant situation!
