“Bravo !”
J'ai passé un séjour superbe dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est exquis, attentionné, la chambre propre, le petit déjeuner copieux, avec deux serveurs remarquables. Vivement que j'y retourne !
“Great Find near St. Mark's”
Great experience overall. Hotel is perfectly located only minutes walk from St. Mark's Square and very convenient to the St. Mark's water-bus stop. Included breakfast was very nice. There is a bar and a rooftop terrace area. Unfortunately, while the hotel is on the lower part of the Grand Canal/Lagoon and also on a smaller canal, our room only had a view of a small courtyard and the adjoining building (no view was prommised to us). Easy public water-bus transportation from Plaza Roma or the train station. Ask the hotel about transportation to/from the airport. We opted to take a very expensive (E110.00) taxi from the hotel to the airport to save time. The taxi was roughly 20 minutes vs 1 hour 15 minutes for the water-bus. We attended a Vivaldi Concerto one evening--highly recommend this if you enjoy classical music. Hotel has details. Front desk staff is very responsive and communicates well in English. Responded very quickly to email questions prior to our arrival. Would definitely stay here again.
“Locanda Vivaldi, Venice”
Fantastic location facing the lagoon, five minute walk to St.Marks square. Can be busy and a bit noisy along the promenade, but the hotel was an oasis of calm.
“KSWRL”
I have recently returned from a fabulous stay at the Locanda Vivaldi and it didn't disappoint in any way. The service was excellent and we had a beautiful room with a stunning view of the basin. We were a family of four with young children and were all made to feel welcome at all times. A must is to have a meal on the terrace. The food was superb, the company intimate (only a few diners) and the sunset and view must be one of the best in the whole of Venice. If the hotel is reading this please pass on my congratulations to the only waiter and cook, they do a fantastic serice for the hotel. It is set in an excellent location and I would recommend this hotel to anyone......................I hope to return again one day............xx
“Great, great hotel.”
We stayed for 3 nights. Spacious rooms by European standards, fantastic views from our room and the roof-top dining area. Can't beat the location -- close enough to the main tourist areas and vaporetti, but far enough away that you don't get disturbed at night by noise. Great breakfast choices (get there before 9AM), excellent restaurant food on the roof. Their hot chocolate is just about the best in the city (European-style). Staff was superbly attentive without being intrusive (we had a drainage issue with our shower and it was fixed within 5 minutes of informing the front desk). Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
“Perfect Venice Location”
Perfect spot allows you to be within a 5 minute walk from San Marco Square but far enough away to enjoy a quiet night at a fair price, this will be the hotel of our choice for every trip we plan to Venice.
“Une superbe adresse, à deux pas du vaporetto San Marco San Zaccharia, idéalement situé”
Petit bijoux vénitien, hôtel très chic avec une superbe décoration des chambres ( appliques en Murano par exemple) Très bon restaurant à l'hôtel avec une jolie terrasse et vue sur le grand canal
“Wonderful Views over the Lagoon”
This hotel was recommended to us and it certainly lived up to the recommendation. The hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly and the views over the Lagoon were magical. There was a roof terrace where you can sit and watch Venice pass by. We would definitely go back.
“hotel in Venice”
perfect location, perfect maintenance, very comfortable beds and pillows, good breakfast, price-quality ratio is impeccable
“Best Hotel”
I will book the next trip

Area:
San Marco, Venice, Italy: San Marco (St Marks) is quintessential visitors Venice. The Piazza San Marco, famous for its pigeons, campanile, basilica, Palazzo Ducale (Doges Palace) and expensive cafes, is unmissable. The waterfront views are legendary and more gondolas depart from here than anywhere else in the city. In season the Piazza teems with day trippers though just a block or two away streets are quiet and offer more museums and palaces to explore.
