“Helvetia Venice”
Pleasant staff, great buffet breakfast,very clean.Rooms a little on the small side but spotlessly clean so don't think size too important.
“simple et pratique d'acces : adresse à conserver”
Hotel confortable, propre et simple. Déco un peu vieillotte. Les chambres donnant sur la grande rue sont un peu bruyantes du fait du simple vitrage. Buffet pour le petit dej (salé et sucré) à volonté : pas "excellent" mais pas mauvais non plus : très correct. Personnel très disponible et serviable!!! Les + : à 2 min chrono des vapporetti conduisant à Venise et possibilité de laisser les bagages (sous surveillance) le dernier jour.

hôtel agréable pour un voyage découverte de VENISE La situation au Lido n'est pas un handicap dans la mesure ou le déplacement en vaporetto est accepté Rapport qualité/prix très satisfaisant.
“100 meters from Ferry Dock!”
I loved my stay at Lido Beach. It was so close to the Ferry, and there are affordable restaurarants and two grocery stores very close by I can't think of a better location. I could not have handled the crowds of Venice proper all day everyday, I would visit for 5 or 6 hours and then love the fact I was headed away to the slower pace yet comfortable friendly Lido beach community. This neighbourhood and this hotel made my stay. Thanks!
“this was the most satisfing break i have had for a long while”
on arrival from the airport by boat to lido i could not believe how close the hotel was to the water taxi stop great start, from the outside the hotel looked clean and tidy we where meet by very helpfull staff booking in was simple and quick all good so far then the room not a bad suprise small but extreamly clean and then the dreeded bed and what a great suprice really comfortable for a budget this was great the outlook from the room was of other balconies but from the hallway you could see St Marks Square across the harbour there was loads of cafe
“Great place to stay in Venice”
It's a great hotel, very nice rooms, plenty of space, A/C and not very expensive for Venice. Breakfast was very good also. The hotel is located less than two minutes away from the main water-bus stop on Lido. There's a supermarket across the street and you can get to the beach within a 10 minute walk. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area.
“Great relaxing location away from the crowds of Venice!”
Fantastic location just a couple of hundred meters from the Vaparetto stop to take you to San Marco etc. Cute older hotel but fairly well maintained. Our sink broke twice and they were quite quick about getting it fixed. Less than 10 min walk from a big free sandy beach and opposite the supermarket to buy much cheaper things for breakfast or lunch!!
“Great!”
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel in excellent postion, 2 mins walk to water buses. Right in the heart of shops, bars and restaurants so it was a bit noisy but only holiday hustle and bustle; nothing we couldn't put up with! Extremely easy to get to main part of Venice and beach was only 10 mins walk so we had it all. We didn't bother with breakfast as plently of places around. Would go there again.
“A fantastic hotel for single travellers, families or couples.”
Situated on the main street of the laid-back Lido with shops, bars and cafes on the doorstep. The beach is a ten minute stroll away and the vaporetto stop for the fifteen minute trip to Venice is across the road. It is a perfect base which combines the culture of Venice and the beach life of the Lido. The hotel has an old-fashioned feel to it but it is spotlessly clean. My room (which was small but had everything I needed-air con, fan, hairdryer, TV etc)was cleaned daily to a very high standard. Breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel in Italy-fresh rolls, croissants etc. A super hotel which I will definitely return to again especially as it is such a reasonable price.
“Exactly what we wanted”
I visit Venice every two years for the Biennale and from now on this is the hotel I'll use. Spotlessly clean, very helpful staff, spacious lobby/bar/dining area and good breakfast in a pleasant garden(totally disagree with the person who slated the breakfast which is perfectly good for a midprice hotel)and ideal location just next to the waterbus stop with direct routes to the Giardini, St Mark's, the station, the airpoirt and the islands. A wide range of restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets 5 mins walk away, and a beach. When my friend got up too late for breakfast they gave her a special breakfast free; when something was wrong with the air con they got an engineer in immediately; nothing but praise for this hotel.
