“A place to rest your head at night”

Hotel Flora is a decent hotel for those who wish to be very close to St. Marks square, but at the same time do not require a spacious room or other amenities of full service hotels. It is essentially just a place to rest one's head for the night. Tucked away in an alley amidst high-end retail shops the Flora could easily be missed. The staff were mostly pleasant and helpful and the breakfast buffett was very nice. The room was miniscule however (about 1/4 the size of a standard American hotel room). The general manager was most gracious and helpful.
