“Hôtel Canaletto, un endroit à recommander”

Un hôtel très bien situé, proche des centres d'intérêt et donnant sur une rue calme. Le personnel est très serviable, les chambres sont bien insonorisées et très propres. Un bon rapport qualité/prix.

“Parfaitement situé!!!”

L'hôtel est dans le parfait style Vénitien, Rococo à souhait, la chambre est simple mais agréable, quel calme!!!! Le GRAND plus de l'hôtel est sa situation, à côté du pont Rialto est proche de la place Saint-Marc vous pouvez tout visiter à pied, à faire également un petit tour de Vaporetto à la station Rialto afin d'admirer la ville depuis son Canal et un petit tour de Gondole est un must malgré le prix!!! Personnel très accueillant et francophone, petit déjeuné simple mais complet. Nous recommandons vivement c'est hôtel.

“Perfect base for Venice”

The hotel was everything other reviewers had said. The reception staff were unfailingly helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the AC worked! The breakfast is excellent and the location is perfect for exploring Venice

Very impressed with the hotel - spotlessly clean, very helpful staff and centrally located near St Mark's and the Rialto. Air conditioning in the room was very welcome. A great base for a short trip.

Great location ( thanks to other Expedia guests postings we found it with no problem- do not rely on the address!) Lovely little hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Every single person we dealt with there were warm and helpful. Perfect location - near everything but quiet on a little street. I will stay here whenever I can!! HIghly recommend!!!

“Four star hotel in Venice”

Hotel Canaletto is near San Lio Church, in the heart of Venice. The Rialto Bridge is 220 yards away.Piazza San Marco is within walking distance. The hotal has 38 elegant rooms. An excellent breakfast is provided by the hotel. It is in a very good location for sightseeing. The english speaking staff was very helpful. The room was realy large by European standards. It was was very clean. If handicap accessibility is an issue you need to find an alternate choice. This is a challenge all over the city of Venice because of the canals and numbeous bridges which need to be traversed to see the various attractions. It was a very enjoyable stay.

“FANTASTIC LOCATION”

The hotel cannot be beat for location although a little hard to find for a start. The standard rooms are very small but we upgraded to one overlooking the canal and it was fantastic, well worth paying extra. Don't go to the island of Morano with the hotel free tour as this is a ripoff. They take you to a big expensive factory and then you still have to pay to come back via the public ferry. The island itself is well worth a visit as it is not as crowded and the shops are plentiful and cheap and they sell the same glass as the over priced factory.

hotel tres bien situe a quelques pas du rialto et de la place saint marc. l hotel est en cours de rénovation et les chambres renovees sont tres joliment décorées. le petit-dejeuner buffet est tres sympa.
