Housed in an older building overlooking Venice's Grand Canal, Hotel Canal is decorated in 18th-century Venetian style with period-style furnishings, and lighting and mirrors made from Murano glass. A complimentary Continental breakfast is served each morning in an elegant breakfast room, while guests dine on a landscaped patio in summer. “Excellent hotel when traveling to Venice!”

Within easy walking distance to the Venice (San marco)train station. 20 minute leisurely walk(with a map of course!) to the main sites of the Rialto bridge and S. Marks Square. Clean, quite comfortable, what more could one ask for?

“Hotel conseillé pour familles et pour sa situation dans Venise”

Nous avons apprécié cet hotel pour ses prestations (chambre familiale 4 pers. climatisée avec télévision avec vue sur le canal), calme du quartier, petit-déj copieux et varié dans jardinet ombragé, propreté des chambres, service d'entretien impécable...) et pour sa situation (dans le vieux Venise, sur le canal mais pas du tout bruyant, à proximité des sites intéressants, de petits restau sympas et des quais pour le vaporetto, la gare routière et ferrovière...)

“Always my first choice”

I first stayed here as a gift from a friend. I travel once or twice a year to Venice and while I have stayed at two other hotels on different occasions, this is my first choice. I like everything about this hotel, the rooms, the price,breakfast, the people and the location. It's a place I look forward to being at for all the reasons mentioned.

“Good hotel near train station”

The hotel is close to the train station and piazzale roma, good for coming and going. The room was tiny (but that was expected and not a problem). Breakfast was decent and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Fantastic Holiday”

We usually go for a two star so this was luxury for us, the room was huge and very clean with lovely decor. The staff were extremely helpful and the location was perfect, we had a lovely view of the Grand Canal from our window and it was close to all attractions, transport, restaurants etc. Highly recomended.

“Old School Hotel on the water”

Hotel is close to bus stop, in the heart of Venice on the main canal. Great service... Nice breakfast included. Old decor.. Loved it...
