“In the right place”

You don't usually spend much time in a hotel room in Venice. But this room would be fine if the rain or other concerns kept you inside. The beds were confortable, the room was nicely appointed, and the bathroom was relatively generous in size. Combined with the excellent location, these things make the hotel a great place to stay.

“Les 3 hôtels que nous avons fréquentés : proximité immédiate des sites touristiques”

Ll'hotel CA' ALVISE est très bien situé à 2 pas de la Fénice et à proximité du centre historique de Venise. Nous le recommandons pour son confort, le décor de la chambre et le silence. Petits déjeuners qui satisfont tous les appétits. Seul défaut, pas d'ascenseur mais à Venise on s'habitue vite à monter et à descendre les escaliers !

“Hôtel Ca' Alvise: très bien situé”

Hôtel très bien situé,chambre jolie,calme et spacieuse.On prend le petit déjeuner dans un joli cadre et il est complet (sucré/salé).Le personnel est agréable.En revanche beaucoup d'escaliers et pas d'ascenseur.Sinon demander à être au premier étage.Quant à Venise, une vraie ville de rêve.Si vous le pouvez , profitez de la biennale jusqu'au 27/11 !

“Royal and magical !!”

The hotel itself was great, but more on that later. We got lost trying to find the hotel. Interestingly, the addressing system of Venice is totally hopeless. Instead of street addresses (as is the norm in most of the western world), the address will be like "3954 San Marco", which pretty much means that in the "town" called San Marco, you find building # 3954 -- the town will be huge, and building #s will be haphazard, and NO, google won't map it correctly for you. I wonder why I didn't know about this even though I did lots of research on everything !!! We got lost big time trying to find our hotel. Imagine walking through the city with 2 kids, with 4 carry-on bags, carrying the bags up and down the steps every time you cross a bridge !!! So if you go to Venice, ask the hotel to give specific directions from the Vaporetto stop. But once we got to the hotel room, it was heavenly !!! The room was exquisite. The bathroom had a jacouzzi, so all our tiredness vanished as soon as we all took a bubble bath :-) The staff was very friendly -- the gave us good directions and suggestions, offered to call the gondola right there in the hotel, and next day we could keep our luggage there till we were ready to hop off venice. The breakfast served tons of things, including hot milk to pour into hot tea :-)

“Vacance à venise”

Hotel tres bien situe par rapport à la place saint marc car à peine 5 minutes de marche. Chambre vraiment belle et assez grande. Personnel tres gentil et serviable.

“PARFAIT”

Parfait. Prix très intéressant même pour Venise l'hiver. Situation parfaite . Proche de plusieurs stations de vaporetto. Chambre très grande. Quartier très animé mais hôtel très calme. Petit déjeuner buffet parfait beaucoup de choix. Personnel très aimable. L'été c'est peut être moins bien mais là 23 dec c'était... PARFAIT!

“Bon week end !!”

Hôtel très bien situé à 5min de la place St Marc. Belle supercie et belle décoration de la chambre. Bon accueil, le personnel de l'hotel parle très bien le français. Petits restaurants sympa à deux pas de l'hôtel.
