Une référence : un accueil impeccable ( les gérants parlent français et anglais), très chaleureux, répondant à nos questions et n'hésitant pas à téléphoner pour des renseignements, convivial avec une chambre propre, calme (chambre 305), parfaitement situé puisque à 3 mn de St Marc et à peine 5 de Rialto. Petit déjeuner copieux dans une petite salle le long d'un canal.

“Great hotel for our first visit to Venice”

Hotel Becher was the perfect place for our 6 day stay in Venice.Ideally situated 5 mins fromSan Marco. The hotel was small but very comfortable. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. After booking I read a lot of the reviews and decided it would be nice to have a room overlooking the canal with a balcony. This was no problem at no extra cost. Every evening the singing gondolier would pass by our hotel room and it was lovely watching all the gondolas pass by. The only negative was the size of the breakfast room - very small. This was not a problem as there are lots of lovely campo's with good coffee and pastry shops.

“Hotel Becher 'a little gem'”

We recently came back from a five day stay at the Hotel Becher and had a wonderful time. We had a very warm welcome when we arrived, and were invited to choose which of two rooms we preferred. As in all the Venice hotels the rooms are small but were clean and well presented. The clothes storage is only adequate for a short stay so that didn't bother us. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of coffee and good food. Great location just off the beaten track but so close for all the best sites. The hotel manager and staff were very pleasant and helpful, with nothing too much trouble. Highly recommeneded and would return with out hesitation.

“Great location and excellent service”

This hotel was in a great location. The service was excellent and there were free trips on offer eg water taxi to Murano (not to be missed). Our room was small, but was clean and comfortable. I loved the fabric that lined the walls, instead of wallpaper.

Wonderfully located for all the main sights but yet slightly off the track - so away from the crowds. This hotel offers exceptionally good value with lovely rooms (ours certainly was) and very friendly service.

We stayed in a family room for four with our two teenage daughters! As it turned out, the room was large and suited us just fine. The staff were very friendly and assisted us with restaurants, taxis and general information. The location was perfect with a boat taxi dropping us off right at the front door. I would suggest taking a private water taxi from the airport, it was worth the extra cash (not much) It was like having our own private city tour!

nous avons passé 3 jours particulièrement agréables dans cet hôtel très bien situé pour découvrir Venise. L'accueil est très chaleureux et les proprétaires sympathiques et serviables.Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans aucune réserve et nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Trois étoiles seulement (?) mais mieux que presque tous les quatre étoiles. Emplacement idéal : 30 mètre de la Fenice, 3 minutes de San Marco dans le plus beaucoup secteur de Venise. Chambres et salles de bains refaites à neuf, vue hyper sympa sur un canal, accueil très chaleureux, presque familial des propriétaires, la larme à l'oeil en partant et l'envie de très vite revenir. Une réserve ? Non aucune, vraiment aucune !
