“Good quality for the money”

Antiche Figure is good value for the money. Friendly and professional service, comfortable enough rooms. Location is both an upside and a downside: if you are not traveling light, it surely helps to be close to the train station. That, on the other hand, puts the hotel a litlle bit far away from most of the most important churches and museums. Very important: do not pay extra for the canal view rooms. The view ends up being mostly to the train station, the rooms are nosier (you will be facing one of the busiest vaporetto stops) and are not particularly larger or fancier

“Perfect Hotel for Venice Getaway”

Everything about this hotel was perfect for a short stay in Venice. The location is a very short walk to/from the train station, but still in a nice area and very close to the vaporetto stop. The building is historic and charming,the rooms clean and elegant, and the staff are equally charming as well as extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was very nice as well. Our favorite hotel in Italy.

“Great Location for Pre Cruise Stay”

We were very pleased with hotel and location. It was a very easy commute from the airport using the Airport Bus to Piazzale Roma and then a five minute walk to the hotel. The morning breakfast that was included was great. We were a couple of minutes from the canal taxis and again a five minute walk to the people mover that took us straight to the cruise dock.

“excellent/affordable”

This hotel turned out to be an excellent choice for us. It was convenient, clean, affordable, and the staff was incredible - as was their English. The breakfasts were very good and more than we expected. This is a hotel we would definitely return to. The hotel personnel went above and beyond making our stay comfortable and offering recommendations for restaurants, sights to see, etc.. It was convenient to park our car and walk to the hotel with our bag. We loved our experience in Venice and partly due to the hotel Antiche and their staff.

“Good Location”

The Hotel Antiche Figure is in an excellent location -- the Santa Croce neighborhood. The quiet sourrounding neighborhood has lots of shops and cafes within walking distance. And it's very close to the vaparetto -- water taxi stand. We bought 72-hour tickets and used the water taxi to go all over Venice. It was easy getting to the hotel when we arrived at the Marco Polo airport. We just took the express bus shuttle from the airport, which costed about 7 euros. Then we walked with our luggage in hand for about 10 minutes before arriving at the hotel. By the way, I recommend that you pack light because you will have to carry your luggage over a few bridges with lots of steps to get to the hotel from the bus drop-off point.

“A Wonderful Stay!”

I could not have been happier with my experience at Hotel Antiche Figure. It was very easy to find (in a city where most places are quite hard to find!). The staff was really, really lovely - warn, kind and helpful and they all spoke great English. The hotel organized a free trip for us to the Island of Murano to see the amazing glass blowers in action and gave us great tips on getting around Venice. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The decor was romantic and old-fashioned (in a good way!) but had all the modern conveniences. It was a really great experience and we will certainly be back.

This hotel has the best location especially if your traveling with a lot of luggage. The staff go beyond what we would ever get back home, the rooms are beautiful and clean and I would definently recommend anyone to stay here, you will NOT be dissapointed!
