“Lovely hotel in ideal location”

This hotel is a five-minute walk (over two bridges) from the Piazzale Roma -- a perfect location. They provided me my room at 0730 on the morning of the only night I was staying there. This is unheard of. The room was beautifully done and extremely quiet. I will certainly stay there again.

“Chris”

I highly recommend this hotel. Its right across the Grand Canal from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the main bus link to the airport. The rooms are great (have AC which is key) and it was really quiet. The staff was simply outstanding, everything we could have asked for and more. Venice is expensive so if you want a good experience you are going to pay, this was a good value in an expensive city. We will be back and we will stay in this hotel again. Another important factor, it was really quiet at night which is hard to find in this city.

“Fabulous”

“Unbelievable”

This hotel was an important part of our stay in Venice. It was central to a big part of Venice and always easy to get back to because of the train station (just look for train station signs). It felt like the staff were family and checked in with us morning and night to make sure we were safe and didn't need anything. Their knowledge of the city was of great help and they recommended some fantastic sights and restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean and the breakfast buffet was well worth it. We will definitely be returning home.

“Will go back”

Located on the grand canal, the water taxi brought and picked us up right in front of our hotel. Nice size, clean rooms. Located near shopping and eateries. Friendly staff. Breakfast was just OK.

“Highly recommend as a great value in Venice.”

Very positive experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful which can be rare in Venice. Rooms spacious for Venitian standards as well as the price. Great breakfast with many selections. Convenient location. I would gladly stay here on my next visit to Venice.

“Prime location”

Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel central to everything - perfect location. Visited Verona for a day - definitely worth a visit - taking a train from teh station opposite hotel (hotel staff helped with train times).

“Great Stay!”

Charming hotel with a charming staff. They spoke great English, gave great suggestions on traveling in the area, made our dinner reservations, had a library of guide books etc. even had an adaptor when mine went kaput.

“Very nice hotel”

This hotel was very easy to find from the train station - just look across the Grand Canal and there it is! This 'easiness to find' can be a big bonus in Venice. The outside of the hotel does not look that great but any doubts were dispelled when we entered and were greeted. We could not understand why breakfast was not available as an option when booking through Expedia but that was quickly put right - breakfast was given to us free! We had a choice of rooms - a triple on the top floor which we had booked or a smaller but equally inviting room on the second floor. We opted for the larger top floor room. The beds are really comfortable and the hotel is very quiet despite its location. So we thought it was very good value for money and would definitely go there again. We were asked if there was anything that could have been done to make our stay more enjoyable, but we could not think of anything, which is a good sign.
