“A Venetian Idyll”

An excellently furnished hotel with Venetian decor. The hotel was small enough to be personal but large enough wiith spacious rooms and appropriate facilities. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was so clean. We had a standard room but hopefully will experience an upgrade in the future. One of the best hotels we have stayed in!

la chambre est comme décrit sur internet la salle de bain est tres petite déconseillé aux personnes fortes et ayant de la difficulté a enjembé pour la baignoir pas tres accessible.sinon l'hotel est calme un tres bon acceuil ils parlent français le petit déjeuner est copieux et diverssifié la place st marco n'est pas loin et du pont de l'accademia qui se trouve a 200 m on accede facilement a tout les routes pour visiter venise.les gondoliers sympa 20 e par personnes le tour de 30 mn.enfin nous recommandons cet hotel merci a expédia

“A gem with all you could need.”

I travelled with my aging father of 80 requiring wheelchair access (which Venice is far from accomodating) and this hotel is ideal. Easy access to all areas with a vaporetto station about 150 metres away. Excellent breakfast. Easy Free internet access and very reasonable in price. Excellent.

très bien situé, au calme, dans un charmant quartier. Très bon accueil, très propre, bonne literie et chambre confortable (la n° 105 est d'une bonne dimension mais sans vue car correspond à une standard). Petit-déjeuner buffet copieux et tout à fait correct.

Perfect location in Venice and very comfortable. Staff was very accomodating. The breakfast included was top quality. Rates were good.

“Perfect situation”

Having never been to venice before, we booked a hotel that had previous good recommendations and we were certainly not disappointed. The hotel is perfectly situated within a few minutes walk of two main waterbus stops. Although our room was small it was adequate for us. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was enough to last us the whole day. We would happily recommend this hotel and would love to return again ourselves.

We looked at many hotels on the internet before we decided to go to this one and chose it from the previous reviews and location. What a great choice! It was 2 minutes walk from either the Zatterre water stop or Accademia. We decided to book a double superior canal side room and we weren't disappointed, from our room we could see the Grand Canal which can't be beaten first thing in the morning. The breakfast was OK, nothing fantastic. Location is superb, in a quiet area but still close to bars and restaurants, 15 minute walk from St Marks.The Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly. We just wish we were back there now.

“Nice 'n' Quiet”

Lovely Hotel in a great location in the Accademia District close to the Grand Canal & across the water from Guidecca. One of the best holidays so far, helped by staying at the Hotel American.

“Très bon Hotel !!!!!”

Nous sommes restés 4j dans cet hôtel, et nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. Il est très bien situé, pas loin du centre ville mais néanmoins au calme...La chambre n'était pas très grande mais propre et bien décorée. Le petit déjeuner est continental, très copieux et le service est très pro...Bref nous conseillons vivement cet hotel !
