“pleasantly surprised”

having to overnight post cruise, we chose a hotel near the airport for comvenience, and reasonably priced. We were very pleased with our choice, and from our arrival, to our departure we were treated with friendliness, and helpfulness. Room was clean, and had everything to meet our needs, but bed a bit hard and pillows could be bigger--just our personal preference. Quiet area in Mestre, allowing easy access to Venice via bus, with the stop about 1/2 block away, and only 2.60E return. adequate breakfast, nicely set up. Added fruit would be nice, but for the price will not complain. There private driver got us to the airport quickly, and was very helpful. i would stay here again, and will recommend it to anyone going to Venice.

“Solid, affordable option”

The hotel is located away from Venice, about 30 minutes by a regular bus service (1 Euro 20 each way) that stops every 10 or 15 minutes further down the street. The hotel staff were polite, friendly and knowledgeable recommending day trips. (We can also strongly recommend the takeaway pizzeria - Jungle Pizza - a few doors down from the hotel). The breakfast was great - cereal/yoghurt/cheese/meat/rolls/croissants/juices/hot drinks. In summary, we would definitely recommend staying here if your budget doesn't stretch to something more central.

“Reasonable Venice Hotel Close to Airport”

We needed a hotel close to the airport after completing a cruise to the Greek Islands (a wonderful trip with NCL, but that's another review!). We arrived early in the morning and took the public bus up to the hotel in Mestre. Instructions were ok, but could have said which stop to get off at since there were 2 possibilities. The owner (I assume) was at the desk and there wasn't any problem leaving our bags and checking in later that evening so we went back to explore Venice with our day pass for the vaperettos and bus. The room was very basic and older style, but had all the amenities we need - hot shower with good flow, hair dryer, air conditioning and a queen bed. There was a bus stop within walking distance that got us to the airport in 10 minutes. It would have helped for the front desk to have the times! All in all good value for the $.

“Just okay...”

Hotel could use some updating & some better cleaning. Hotel says it has direct dial phones but it does not. We asked at the front desk and the women said no rooms have a telephone. Although there were phone instrutions in the desk in your room. WIFI is only in lobby, no where else. Satff was very helpful & friendly with how to get around and what to see. Breakfast was plentiful. Hotel very accessable to pubic bus transportation.
