This is old-school Venice; warm, welcoming room, courtyard, and accoutrements.
Our hosts were friendly, knowledgable and helpful.
The staff was lovely and served a wonderful breakfast; attentive without being intrusive.
It's also very near what became our favorite restaurant, Muretto. Beware the spritzers!
It's very close to the water taxi; but, aside from coming and going, we walked. And, whether you want a short walk or long, it's close to so very much. Even meandering the streets, seeing centuries-old buildings and adornments is magnificently satisfying.
