Fantastic location and breakfasts!

Posted 5-Sep-2014
Cons: Maybe nicer toiletries.
Location: Central to StMark's Square, basilica and campanile with fantastic views across Venice. Easy to visit Murano. Must experience a gondola ride.
We stayed at Al Codega for 3 nights to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. The hotel is a few minutes walk from St Mark's Square and easy to walk to from the water bus stop. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and we lived the mirror that doubled as a TV! I have to say the breakfast was exquisite - bruschetta, scrambled eggs and individual cakes and miniature puddings.

Pros: Service, location and Ambience
Cons: nothing
Location: Location very confient, close to San Marco square
Location is fabulous, within 10 minutes from Rialto Bridge but in a very quiet courtyard away from the hustle and bussel. Staff at Reception were extremely helpfull and friendly. Rooms more spacecess than l expected for Venice and well appointed with still offering all the charm

A very cozy small hotel

Posted 22-Aug-2014
Location: Excelent location, near to Rialto bridge, San Marcos, Vaporetto. Also the train station is not far so you can come and go easily.
The staff is very kind and efficient. The hotel offer breakfast buffet, is very very good, although, it does not have restaurant for lunch or dinner, it is not a problem because you can find a lot of options near by. I had a very comfortable tripple room, which was clean and recently remodel.

Very happy customer

Friendly & helpful staff. Very clean & comfortable, wifi included & lift helpful with heavy luggage. Good breakfast available with variety. Only thing to fault was a little hard to find as it is tucked away a few blocks from st marks square. Overall would recommend to anyone.

A Good Location

Posted 12-Aug-2014
Pros: Great location, Clean and well presented, quiet.
Location: It's Venice so masses to do and see.
A very well run and friendly hotel in a very convenient spot in San Marco. Quiet at night and was exactly what we were hoping for. Make sure you print out a map of exactly where the hotel is on a map as it was hard to find first time.

Hidden gem

Posted 6-Aug-2014
Pros: location, staff, breakfast
Cons: Italian law doesn't allow ironing in rooms. Please provide some kind of pressing or ironing service!
Location: San Marco square, rialto bridge
We loved this hotel. It is hidden in a quiet courtyard 5 minute walk from the main square and rialto bridge. Breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and helpful - they were able to recommend a number of restaurants for me and also called on our behalf to make a reservation. Top notch restaurant terrace overlooking the main canal. The room was also fantastic, great decor and spacious for Venice.
