Superb

Posted 14-Jul-2015
Pros: Staff. Breakfast.
Cons: Map to assist in finding the hotel. It is tucked away in a courtyard.
Location: All Venice attractions.
This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Venice. The staff are superb and cannot do enough to assist. We especially appreciated their local dining recommendations. The hotel is convenient to both St Marks square and the Rialto bridge. The breakfast, was excellent and had an excellent range to choose from.

Clean quiet hotel in the heart of Venice

Posted 9-Jul-2015
Pros: Clean, quiet, helpful staff.
Cons: WiFi was extremely slow or non-existent in our room, so I would suggest going to a common area if you need to go online.
Location: Centrally located, minutes to Piazza San Marco and all the water bus/taxi stations.
Clean and quiet hotel tucked away from all the bustling streets in Venice, yet centrally located at minutes away from Piazza San Marco. Hotel staff was very helpful. Our room was very clean but very small. There was barely enough room to open up our luggage. I would suggest reading the room descriptions very carefully to check out the square footage. Bathroom was squeaky clean and not moldy. Breakfast buffet was good. Overall the hotel offers good value if you are in Venice for a short stay.

Very Nice hotel in the middle of Venice that was hidden away. The hotel gave the impression of a quiet oasis but surrounded by plenty of tourists sights.

Great location, hard to find initially

The hotel is very tricky to find. The woman at the front desk was fantastic and provided great insight and advice. She also gave spot on restaurant recommendations. Thanks for the great stay.

Comfortable hotel, excellent staff

We enjoyed our stay very much. Front desk were outstanding, full of information and happy to help. Room was small (typical for Venice, I understand) but was clean and comfortable. TV could use a few more English channels.

The staff here were so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was great with a selection of pastries, cheeses, cereal, toast etc. The hotel is close to some main attractions, shops and restaurants and would definitely stay here again.

"Grand Hotel"

Posted 28-Jun-2015
Location: The location was close to everything. The vaporettas were so close and we were also close to the Rialto Bridge, shops, restaurants.
My husband and I spent a wonderful 5 days in Venice. We were so impressed with Hotel Al Codega. The hotel was beautiful inside and out and was in an area that was quiet. So, we slept so well during our stay. The bed, room and bathroom were so comfortable and very nice sized. The breakfast was so delicious and beautifully appointed. We would most definitely come back to Hotel Al Codega again. The staff were helpful and amazing. Our room was always cleaned to perfection and the breakfast was wonderful!! Brenda and Greg

Most welcoming and unforgettable stay

Posted 28-Jun-2015
Pros: First and foremost, the educated staff and the heartwarming ambience. As important it was the location was absolutely amazing.
Cons: Keep up the wonderful work!
Location: This is the most amazing location! It gives you all intimacy and quiet and the business of one of the most vibrant cities in Europe!
You will never regret having it all in Beloved Venice! This hotel is the combination of Italian sophisticated and warm spirit and culture. The staff was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. The rooms and service were outstanding. I have been in Venice before in well known hotels... but this was the one that capture absolutely all you would want to have, including closeness, literally around the corner of Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge. Yet, the hotel offers the coziness and quiet you need to rest and be. On an unexpected note, the day I left I received a gift because I was perceived as someone a bit special. This gesture of sweetness and care gave me hope and allowed me to go back to life with the certainty that everywhere you go there are amazing and genuine people waiting for you. In a planet in which kindness and peace and generosity seem from time to time missing, this is a giift. Well done!

Lovely Stay!

Posted 26-Jun-2015
We only got lost slightly on the first try and we're lucky enough to "bump into " a staff member on the second! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful from start to finish and provided great recommendations. We loved the location and coming back to a spacious (I think), clean and comfortable room everyday was wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of great choices.
