“Great B&B in Venice.”

This bed and breakfast was great. Me and my wife stayed here for 4 days and it was great. At first it was a little hard to find the place because its very easy to get lost in Venice. Once we found it though the staff was great and let us put out luggage in our room early. They were easy to communicate with and the rooms were very clean and nice. I would highly recommend this b&b to anyone that is looking to stay in Venice. The prices were great as well.

Location great. This is NOT a 'boutique hotel' it is an average B&B and for that even by Venice standards a little pricey. It has no staff most of the time, no service except for breakfast and reception is staffed for short periods of time and at infrequent intervals. There is no lounge or bar, much less restaurant or cafe. So don't expect hotel services. Bathroom was spotless, but some plaster damage to walls. Bed comfortable, linen & towels spotless. Continental breakfast adequate, no choice, same each day pre-packaged croissant, toast etc. Biggest drawback was difficulty in controlling temperature of heating in room - far too warm most of the time even in late October. Room upgrade advertised by Expedia did not happen. Wi-Fi also advertised by Expedia did NOT exist. However for a visit to Venice it is well placed as 10 minute walk to San Marco and as we were out most of the days the accommodation suited our needs and was very quiet at night. Expedia needs to review its listing so that it more accurately reflects the type of accommodation this actually is.

“good location”

The location and price is great. The owner and help are very nice. The bathrooms are poorly designed and we had a mosquito problem (as did other guests). The breakfast is coffee and roll outside. The owner doesn't live close buy so if you have a problem or arrive early you have to wait outside for him.
