“A Venice Proposal”

Our stay (or should I say experience) with Ca Maria Adele was simply outstanding! I can't think of a single critique! Both my (now) fiance and I had a simply amazing stay. Every touch from the wine and biscuits upon arrival and the personal greeting and handshake of the owner to the simply outstanding quality of service (front desk getting us room service long after the kitchen had closed) and mind-blowingly beautiful (and impeccably clean and maintained) rooms. We stayed in the lavishly decorated "The Doge's Room" (which is at least as impressive as the photos online) and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious a la carte breakfasts every morning (they were some of the best food we had while in Venice). Ca Maria Adele was and is so perfect that it also served as the place where I proposed to my now fiance! Neither of us can recommend this place highly enough!

The rooms were nicely decorated but not the usual "venetian" heaviness.The staff was extremely efficient and their restaurant recommendations were great. Very quiet and nice location. Although it did not have a fitness facility it is located next to a quiet broad " Boardwalk" along the Grand Canal where you can jog or walk. The breakfast was excellent. Had a great time!!

“The best hotel we ever stayed in”

We had a fantastic time. The hotel was superbly decorated in typical Venetian style with hints of North Africa. The atmosphere was welcoming, luxurious and not at all pretentious. It was quiet and unassuming but only a short distance from the hustle and bustle of St Mark's Square across the Grand Canal. We travel a lot and it certainly is the best hotel we ever stayed in.

“Excellent hotel in quiet, convenient location”

The room was extremely comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. The refreshments were complimentary, and so was wi-fi (although the signal wasn't strong enough for us to get a stable connection on our smartphones sometimes). We loved the breakfast options, both in terms of location, timing and food. There are four locations to choose from: terrace, room, breakfast room and guest lounge. Timing: 8am t6 noon. Food: wide range of cooked and cold breakfast, with delicious bread and fruit compote. The only slight downside was that my husband's scrambled egg had a little bit of shell in it. The location of the hotel was very convenient - less than a minute away from the Salute stop, so we often went back to the hotel in the afternoons to cool down and have a drink on the terrace. Also, the hotel offered a complimentary water taxi ride to Murano - with NO hard-sell at the factory. The staff were extremely helpful whenever we asked them any questions and really made our wedding anniversary trip memorable.

J ai séjourné dans une chambre "concept" que je conseille à tout le monde, chambre avec balcon vue sur le petit quai de l'hotel et sur le coté lateral de l'église de la Salute. Le personnel est très professionnel, accueillant et agréable. Un petit séjour de rêve ... à refaire encore et encore ... QUE DU BONHEUR

“Ca Maria Adele - A Haven in the Heart of Venice!!”

We stayed for 3 nights at the CMA for the purpose of seeing La Traviata at La Fenice (wonderful experience) and when visiting Venice again will definitely stay at CMA. It is a beautiful building, very convenient and has its own landing stage overlooking the Church St.Maria de la Salute, just off the Grand Canal, as you enter Venice. If you want to be "near the action" but also require a bit of tranquility and luxury this is the place for you. CMA is a small, very romantic, intimate, "boutique style" hotel where all the staff were excellent - very friendly, but not "in your face". We had a standard room which was a very good size, and the bed enormous and comfortable, but the bathroom, although very well appointed, was quite small. A must is to take a drink and relax on the little Moroccan style terrace before retiring to bed. I would say the only downside of our stay was the lack of air conditioning in our room (it was unusually hot for the end of April). The room became unbearably hot during the night - we were told by the concierge that hotels in Venice were not allowed to use air conditioning until June for ecological/environmental reasons etc., but apparently some of the rooms in the hotel were cooler than others due to their position. However, this would certainly not deter us from staying at the CMA in the future.

“A magical hotel, in a fantastic location.”

This is a beautiful hotel, which possesses a unique, peaceful and very elegant atmosphere. It is decorated and furnished most stylishly and exudes a real sense of Venices' oppulence. The hotel is located ideally just across the Grand Canal from St Mark's square, yet in a very peaceful position. Its views over one of the city's most lovely churches and a charming canal, are stunning. The Salute waterbus stop is about 20 metres away. The service in the hotel is excellent. Friendly, helpful and unobtusive. We had a magical time in the city particularly because of this gorgeous hotel - you must see it to believe it even if the bed was a little too hard.

“Charming Setting, Attentive Service”

This hotel is an oasis of calm in Venice's bustle. The service is attentive and gracious. Breakfast was served on a silver platter in our room and we were told not to hesitate to ask for more. The bathroom was spacious and modern the room, well-appointed.
