“Beautiful Hotel, Great Location”

We had a fantastic stay at the Bonvecchiati, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. The hotel has very elegant decor and is filled with beautiful art - we loved the Venetian glass chandeliers. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and our room was lovely. The free breakfast buffet was exceptional, probably the best I've ever had at any hotel, and eating outside on the terrace made for perfect mornings.

“Very pleasant hotel”

Reasonable prices considering the location and quality of the hotel. Good amenities in the room - clean and neat. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast included in the price.

“Great Location in Venice”

We had heard hotels were expensive in Venice and did not expect such an elegant hotel for the price. The decor was elegant and the room most comfortable. Located at the intersection of two small canals near Piazza San Marco, we enjoyed the singing by the gondoliers in the evening. Breakfast was more than continental with eggs, bacon, sausages, sweet breads, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt and a selection of local meats and cheeses. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Great stay”

Our stay at the Bonvecchiati Hotel was terrific. We stayed with our 15 month old daughter and the hotel catered for all our needs with her. The location was brlliant, only 5 minutes from St Mark's square and 10 minutes from the Rialto Bridge.

“Good hotel”

This hotel had some terrible reviews on the web but it must have changed hands as we could find little to fault it. The rooms are very comfortable, the location is excellent and the breakfast very good. The downsides are that the drinks at the bar are extortionately expensive and the canal adjacent to the hotel terrace can smell when big boats go by and stir the water up.All in all a very good hotel and one I would use again if we returned to Venice.

“Awesome hotel, Awesome location!”

Stayed there the first week in June and was extremely satisifed with my stay. My wife and I were given a double upgrade and had a room in their building across the canal on front of the hotel that had views of the two cross canals. The room was new, well air conditioned, and extremely clean and kept. We saved a lot of money by booking in advance with Expedia (5+ months). It is a 5 minute walk from all the main attractions and the continental breakfast was very good.
