“good hotel”
very good hotel have used Best Westen before and would use again
“Wonderful!!!”
Great location, right in the shopping area, close to San Marco Square, we could walk everywhere. Their breakfast was exceptional, they had a wonderful variety of food, white linen table cloths, and a pot of coffe with steamed milk in the Italian style. We loved staying there and would highly recommend it to anyone going there and would stay there again when we go back.
“A Gem in Venice”
The hotel was so convenient and easy to find. It is small but feels like a much larger hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful, even on Christmas day they were so pleasant! (I dont know if I would be) The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food and plenty of it. (cappucino's were excellent!) The room had very appropriate furniture with a good bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We will certainly go back.
“Great hotel !”
We've stayed at the MonteCarlo seven times, and every experience has been excellent. Their strongest asset is their front desk staff. They will do nearly anything for you. As an example, one time our luggage was lost by the airline, and they spent several hours speaking with the local airline people at the airport locating it, and arranging for it to be delivered to the MonteCarlo via water taxi. They did this without us even asking, as we had only mentioned that our luggage was missing, and they volunteered to help us. They've made restaurant reservations for us at places that normally don't take reservations, they'll arrange for water taxis and porters, etc, etc. They're simply the best front desk staff I've ever seen. Second feature is the location. Only about 200 meters from the Basilica San Marco, and a short walk to the Rialto bridge, so it can't be much more convenient than that. Their rates have been very fair by Venice standards (rates go up a LOT during Carnevale, as we found out the hard way, but I'm sure ALL hotels raise their rates during that time). Rooms are not large, but, this is not the U.S., where you can just build a big new hotel. Venice hotels are remodeled OLD buildings (as in middle ages), so nearly all hotel rooms in Venice are small. Just accept it as part of the Venice experience.

“Would definitely stay there again.”
Very good value for money and very efficient service. Located within 5 minutes walk of both San Marco Square and Rialto, it is in the best possible place, at a fraction of the cost of most other nearby hotels. Thoroughly recommended.

“Excellent”
This hotel have a very good location. Is only two little blocks from Plaza San Marcos. Excellent service and good staff people. The rooms for be Europe are at very very good size. I can stay again there.
