“Great Hotel, Great Location”

Good location across from the train station; very modern colorful rooms; large bathrooms; very clean, comfortable beds, nice flat screen televisions and friendly staff.

“Wonderfully convenient and friendly--highly recommended!”

Hotel Bologna was extremely convenient to the Mestre train station (right across the street) -- but you'd never know it in the rooms. They were quiet, clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a breakfast buffet included which made it an even better value -- we'd never stay on the island when there's such a great value staying here. A 1 euro train ride and in 10 minutes you're right at a main vaparetto stop.

“Very Picky Person Loved this hotel”

After landing at the Marco Polo airport we were able to hop on a bus that took us to the bus-stop one block from the hotel and the train station is just across the street from the hotel (no noise, don't worry). The hotel doesn't look great from the outside but once you enter you will be nicely surprised. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The room looks like it was designed with Ikea furniture, not cheap looking, just very Swedish. The rooms lights and heat/cooling system is controlled by your key when you stick it in the keypad in the room. The bathroom has an awesome shower and a heated towel rack, everything seems new. The only complaint is the hotel uses two twin beds to make a double and they would slip apart once in a while. (We stayed at another hotel in Milan and it was the same thing, not sure if that is just Italy as a whole.) The breakfast was typical continental. We had lunch in the hotel it was very delicious. Our location was very conducive to our travel plans. Just cross the street to the train station, purchase tickets and you can get direct trips to Milan and Florence. My companion and I loved the Hotel Bologna and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

“Superb Location”

The hotel is located right across from the train station into Venice and also the bus stops outside the train station into venice. Transportation from the airport to the hotel is available by public bus for 1 Euro and the bus stops right infront of the Hotel. Train ride into Venice about 10 minutes and by bus 5. Lovely and very clean lobby with a helpful staff, rooms spacious hardwood floors very clean and appealing. No noise from the outside. Washroom extremely clean and inviting to use. We spend three days in Venice and commuted over every day. Breafkfast was a full breakfast with a wide variety of food and tastely. Beautiful eating room. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again when we go back.Few eating establishments around but We dinned in Venice so was not a problem.

a short train ride into venice. very clean and comfortable the room and bathroom were nice and big. we had our evening meal at the hotel and it was very good, also buffet breakfast was very good. would definitely return to this hotel.

“great location...near train station”

We were very happy with the location and size of the room. Great complimentary breakfast... salads, fruits, eggs, bacon, croissants, pastries, yogurts and on and on. The computers were very slow, and the key board in italian, hard to figure things out at first. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

“Could not be more satisfied”

With the experience I had, I can't believe anyone would rate anything under a 4. I rated a 5 for everything because we could not be anymore satisfied. Great breakfast, close to train, exceptional staff and very clean rooms. We will be back!

“Would definitely go back”

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night and we were really shocked at how nice it was. The room was really large and the bathroom was finished so nice. We had a safe in the room which was very convenient. All staff on the desk were very helpful and very and very pleasant. It was convenient from the airport and to the train station to get into Venice. The breakfast in the morning was out of this world, everything you could think of, from hot dishes to cold dishes and lots of fruit. We would definitely go back and would recommend it to others.

This was easy to get to from Venice proper. The breakfast buffet was great. The front desk staff were very friendly, but sometimes too busy so it was necessary to wait for help. You can buy train tickets at the hotel for the trip into Venice, so that was a great convenience. I'd recommend it to others.
